    I have a different apporach starting with total topulation>>>dividing into 3 age groups with 18-30 as potential users>>>now splitting this group into urban and rural>>>then take a rough estimate of smarphones and internet penetration in this group>>then guessing the number of people using dating apps>>finally assuming apppropriate share of tinder in that chunk we can arrive at a suitable guess.

    Can u please have a look on my approach: prelims:- -> Domestic mkt -> Poulation -> 130cr -> I will take round figures for sake of simplicity. 130cr -> rural-> 60% (88cr) & urban -> 40% (62cr) rural (88cr): -> avg 6 people per household so 88/6 -> 15 cr -> Income Groups: - High - 10% (1.5 cr) -> 2 fridge/household -> 3cr - Middle - 60% (9 cr) ->70 % households have fridges and 1 fridge/household -> 6.2cr - Poor - 30% -> not considering them -> Rural total fridges 9.2cr Urban(62cr): -> avg 4 people per household so 62/4 -> 15.5 cr -> Income Groups: - High - 10% (1.55 cr) -> 3 fridge/household -> 4.65cr - Upper Middle - 30% (4.6 cr) ->2 fridge/household -> 9.2cr - Middle - 40% (6.15 cr)-> 1 fridge -> 6.15 cr - Poor -> Not considering the poor -> Urban total fridges 20cr => total mkt size 29.2cr => Assuming shelf life of a fridge is 10 years. => total fridge sold year = mrkt size/life + mrkt size * growth => 29.2/10 + 29.2 *2% = 2.92 + 0.29 = 3.21cr fridge sold every year

    Hello, requesting to recheck the growth element. It can not be 5% of 10 Cr. It should of 5% of what is sold in each year i.e. 1 Cr. Answer should be 1.05 Cr. Another way to verify is that wihout growth element demand per year is 1 Cr. Can demand increase by 50% each year/

    You have already categorised population in term of age group then why you later again categorised in household . Means you are trying to make household only with the age group of 20-60 , I don’t think it is safe to make this assumption. Think once , I might be wrong

      @@UtYt06 no makes sense, 1000 sq ft pakdega toh 5 walls hote hai(floor count nhi karre), 5000 sq ft ayega, aur divide karna chahiye tha like tier 1 cities mai 500 sq ft avg, tier 2 mai 1000, and tier 3 mai 2000, ye bhi obviously galat hai but atleast we can show our approach
