I mean you protect the farm with the double barrel shotgun it just makes sense, all it is self-defense

I think this is the reason for why the double barrelled shotgun exists, they wanted a prop for dead civilians but knew the fans would complain not being able to use the weapon so they made it useable

Ive tried it before, it's fun to use on lower level missions, though there's a reason why it's usually found on a dead civilians body..

I feel like Helldivers are basically Krieg Guardsmen. Shrugs off millions in casualties, shoots trillions of munitions because they have them, filled with hatred for all things traitorous or xenos, and specializes in extended battles of attrition. Everything is worth it the sacrifice so long as victory is achieved and the example has been made.
