Many thanks for the tips, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled Mario Volpstein , it's so much simpler and potent now!
Can this help muscle tightness and tears and how often should you do this
Sorry, but the constant ummms & uhhhs are extremely distracting. Couldn't watch more than a few minutes of this.
Shit that all looks painful but I’m ready to get them out the way I miss the basketball court 😢😩
i did surgery ,i advice all first 2 weeks no weight bearing just relax and wear boot 3week and 4 you should do exercise with boot to make ur upper leg muscles strong ,dont walk by boot without crutches at week5 and 6 ,week 7 take off ur boot and ur leg will be strong cuz u did exercise on it with boot before then start physio with physio u should walk normally without limp in 12 session ,be positive ,if u want to know about exercise send me messages to send u the link
Week 10 in, doing own therapy. Walking without boot or brace but swelling and heel pain is rough. Rough 10 weeks so far but I’m getting there
Storz is way more expensive than chattanooga...is it worth it? and the Dolorclast is very cheap , but you say the radial is the best?
a great interview which really brought home how life changing burns can be
Promo>SM 😝
A top man is Jamie. Smart, funny dude. Not a bad footballer either. I've know him a long time. Great acquisition to your organisation.
Thanks for telling the history & passion of Physiquipe. Interesting 😊😊 - Marc Lee -
Great episode guys
Does anyone here also experienced the case BUT NOT doing the op?
i full ruptured last jan 23 fully recovered no op needed, 35mm gap at plantar flex
I had tendoachilis complete rupture two months back, but treatment delay for 2 months, now surgical repair has been done just 3weeks ago still under cast to be continued for 6weeks.how long will I take stand on my foot. Pl. advise.
Irish physio here. Big fan of the channel, great content and great guest speakers.
He might not have wanted to do it, but he was a great teacher.

Luego de que tiempo post operación hay que iniciar la rehabilitación xfa
Complicado yo llevo 5 días post operación y hay mucha información y complica el tema , yo tengo cita en 3 días para revisar la herida y saber próximos pasos
Is this after 3 months or 12 weeks. My swelling was down after week 4. I'm in week 8
Loving the podcast especially hearing Anthony’s stories has been life changing he’s one amazing physiotherapist
What is this treatment called?
What are you rubbing on his achilles?
Good interview
Love this thank you for sharing
I swear too God this better than sex when you have this surgery and go too therapy and they messaging your leg n stuff my goodness
Lucky ppl I got fuck all on the NHS but a boot
As they say "the boy done good".... I was at school with Dave many moons ago (Micky Tams), cracking lad to knock around with, all the best mate, keep up the dedication!
4 weeks post op. Still a long way to go. Started physio and out of cast and into a boot since last week.
How'd you heal man?
😈 ᑭяỖmo𝓼𝐦
That music?! Lol
" oh nothin ´ - just rubbing some metal directly on a scar in an poorly lit room.
wow only 3 weeks old but it looks older to me. The machine looks so good to use.
How would you suggest us in setting the target force and speed in CPM mode to our total knee replacement patient?
DAJTE PREVOD NA SRPSKI . OVO SU SNIMCI NE ONE NASE GLUPOSTI STO PRICAJU MAJMUNI NASI
We know dave galley for years when we know him at luton Town where my dad was kitman and he such a lovely guy
I guess mine wasnt so bad, 5 weeks afrer surgery I can walk on my own with caution but I can do eveything on my own already.
What's the name of the machine, I ruptured my achilles 2 years ago. My tendon is still swollen and I can't run.. information will be really appreciated
Did you have an operation?
I would have to say this is very conservative looking post op achilles. I am 2.5 months after surgery, had a cast for 2 weeks and boot for 4 weeks. Currently I am able to walk normally for longer walks (7-8kms) and am working on strenghtening my calf. Not being able to walk after 3 months is not very normal.
I'm 3 months post op and have been walking for nearly a month, without a limp but can't speed walk or run yet. I suggest pushing yourself a little more as pain and movement permits.
Totally agree i ruptured mine. 6 weeks after surgery I'm walking in boot and cycling. No cratches needed. Push yourself man ♂️
Very good work ❤️🙏👍
Is it normal that a week after surgery (total rupture), if I lift my leg with the boot, after a few minutes my foot starts to swell because of gravity? No matter how I place my foot, I feel that swelling because of the weight of the boot probably. It’s so annoying
Whats the best for Ed radio shockwave or focus shockwave ?
Thanks for all your great questions and feedback
Thanks a lot .
that just looks like its feels amazing anyway from the massage work being done. maybe that would be helpful in general to loosen up and the help strengthen tendon?
Graston massages do not feel good lol. They help tremendously but they are painful. You can literally feel the tissues breaking down.
I'm 3 months post surgery and get similar massages to break down scar tissue. It is literally the most pain I've ever experienced in my life, worse than the actual tear.
Never waste time with shockwave therapy. Meticulous and systemic dry needling in conjunction with electrical stimulation and corrective exercises
To be clear, are you referring to radial shockwave or focused shockwave?? There is more than sufficient literature showing that shockwave, whether radial or focused is a successful modality, especially when used with corrective exercises. Corrective exercises should underpin everything we do, and we should look at multi-modality approaches. But I wouldn't go as far as saying it is a waste of time..
@@dominicsmith771 to clarify and expand. The most effective and practical approach to treating myofascial trigger points is dry needling and spinal segmental desensitization. There about 500 papers with objective and measurable results. From the likes Jan Dommeeholt, Jay P Shah, Sikdar, travell and simmons, Stecco, C Chan Ginn. Please post some of these articles or peer reviewed studies of shockwave therapy for myofascial trigger points
@@eppystein2953 I don't disagree with that, but from my own personal perspective, I can't tolerate needles and I have many patients who don't like the thought of needles either. Shockwave is a, sound, non-invasive modality that can support other modalities, a quick look for some papers: Comparison of radial shockwave and dry needling therapies in the treatment of myofascial pain syndrome : Sukareechai, 2019 Comparison of the Effectiveness of Two Different Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy Regimens in the Treatment of Patients With Myofascial Pain Syndrome İrfan 2014 There are also papers that have looked at how focused shockwave reduces C-nerve fibre growth and also reduces levels of Substance P not to mention increasing angiogenesis tissue growth factors (Moya 2018 - The Role of ESWT n MSK Disorders)
@@dominicsmith771 the fractional time of pain from needling doesnt even compare to the pervasive, never ending excitation, wind-up, peripheral and central sensitization from untreated active myofascial trigger points
Sakit nyan 😁
