get your Tri-tronics e collar working again in less than 1 hour. plus dry time. Use the impact. I have that tool and it is great. I always use my battery impact 6ah battery
Is there no tensioner pulley? I just bought a 610 got it fired up but it doesnt move at all. Belt has like an inch of play and missing a few teeth.
There is not a tension pully there is s variable speed pulley mounted to the motor . On the sides there are large caps take them off and tighten the nut you may need new steering clutches if you tighten them and it doesn't move.
@@justinschneider2307 thank you, I replaced the belt, found the started solenoid was like open essentially and fell to pieces when I touched it. Going to replace that and need to rewire the alternator because the wires corroded, hopefully fire it up. Also noticed oil all over/ under that variable speed control and all the lines and... everything really,(if you are looking down into the compartment on the right, above the belt)

Glad I could help. I have been using mine almost daily for a year and haven't had any issues. The batteries have gone up in price a bit at the store but still cheaper than getting a whole new system.

I think axle boots have become an easy revenue stream for mechanics. They tear so easily that it seems that they're made out of kleenex. Either that or they get cut with a box cutter.
How did you get the retainer ring off, the first one?
I didn't take any retainer rings off anything, take plates off disconnect hydraulic hose- carefully. Then take out eight bolts on front shaft split t in two then take old belt off and reverse the steps

Sorry to tell you, you will need to split it to put your new belt on.
Just what Iwas looking for ! I was trying to crack the top. Yep. I think Garmin did us dirt DC'ing these batteries. Paid over 375 for a brand new unit that I had to toss because they quit the batteries one year after my purchase. Got a friends G3 he gave me the go ahead to crack that case . (as I call it LOL) I know what needs done now THANKS

In the tire biz that style of bead breaker is known as a " 3 finger willy".

WD-40 sprayed around bead would greatly help.Once breaking down a truck tire with a slide hammer bead breaker worked my butt off. after I was finished boss asked "why I hadn't used rubber lube?" he almost ate that slide hammer, but I never forgot that lesson. LL&P
Thanks for the great video explaining exactly what i needed to do. I got it all apart, old belt off and new Belt slipped on, then got the split shaft put back together. Now, for the life of me i can't get the new belt onto the front pulley! I've got the plates on the rear shaft fully separated so the belt is riding right on the shaft, and i cannot get the belt to stretch over the plates on the front shaft. Any tips?
I am in the middle of the same problem..............the new belt does not slide in place as easily as this video suggests and I am having a fight with it . If nothing else it is an opportunity to use all my vocabulary ...............

I have put one of my other cars on a jack and let it down on the wheel edge quickly, then spinned it around a couple times to other sides and repeated. I don't think that would on that big ole tractor tire.

Hold it!!! Just pour a little gasoline around the bead and it will let go after just a few minutes. Gas will work where NOTHING else will.
I broke down many of those with a duckbill sledge and a couple of tires bares.
I did too in my late teens and early 20's but this is much easier. More than one way to break a sweat. Tools cost about the same.

Thinking I'll fix collars for my Pro 500, but can't read specs on the battery pack. Believe it reads 3.6V 700mAh NIMH. What is the model number for this NUON battery?
Sorry for the delay, it is 3.6v 700 mAh. I am not sure I can see if I still have the packaging but bring your collar in to the store and they can help you. It was a cordless phone battery.

2:01 after removing hydro line from swivel. As shown at 1:58, does anything else need to be unbolted/removed before you separate the rear pulley? In other words, at that point do you just remove half of pully by force/muscle with the swivel assembly attached (as one unit)? Or is there another step or procedure? Hope this ? makes sense.
After you remove the swivel, you pull them apart but don't separate them as in don't disassemble. That way it just gives you more room to pull the belt up to the front pulley.
@@justinschneider2307 from what I understand there’s a snap ring in there that you would have to remove in order to take half of that sheave off.
How has it held up, would there have been enough room to use/incorporate the plugin so any future changes would be plug and play?
No extra room at all, but as far as durability it is great. I used the flex seal so it would be easier to remove the battery in the future. People that epoxy them may have a bit of an issue. My dogs have been in reeds and broke ice with them on and no issues.
watching this video on my laptop, See those gray panels on the left and on the right, that is what you get when you record with your phone holding your phone vertically. Now try holding your phone horizontally and see what happens. the panels are gone and you get a full picture instead watching the video through a slit. Why people don't get it. I still see a lot of people recording and holding their phones vertically.

Settle down buddy, I was using the tool as it was intended. Sure go spend another $100 to 300 more on an impact ready tool to save 3 minutes. I only have a need for this tool a few times a year at best, I am fine with the manual tool. I need the exercise.

Been using an impact on mine for years now. Still use it whenever I can't get the pneumatic one in a tight spot.
I am sure I could, but I wanted to use it as intended and show how it worked. I would also probably weld the nut on vs. rely on the pin to hold it.

Because the nut is held on with a roll pin, the company stated "Do not use an impact wrench" and some of the reviews showed the nut and roll pin sheared off.
