@@ImyRox Appreciate the kindness <3 I honestly start most of these from a single song and just go from there. I have a pretty deep library and I've spent more time than is probably healthy organizing everything (lol) so I can just kinda dive into folders based on vibe and genre once I get going

Funny how you can tell you're not British just by how you format the date. Glad to see more and more people here in the US listening to and spinning DnB 😊
I'm definitely a more recent convert, but god dnb is fun to mix. Everything just kinda flows
@@WRTHYmusic whereas modern DnB has a kinda standard beat most tracks stick to, the old school stuff had more diverse rhythms... if you ever want more of a challenge 😉 It's all really fun, but if you wanna up the ante, fuck with some mid 90s Photek, Fabio, Grooverider and Aphrodite. 🔥😎 You can't just fall back on that snare hitting every 2 and 4 with the offset kick, it really makes you dig in more!
@@JeiElRai I'll definitely check those recommendations out, my favorite genre of music is new :)
@@WRTHYmusic for a genre that's only existed in earnest for pretty much exactly 30 years, it's got a rich history and a culture that prides itself on roots. If you go through the paces of learning about the old school and how to spin it, even if you don't necessarily emulate that sound, you'll get mad love and support from the old heads, which can be invaluable if you're a "serious" DJ 😎
