@EllenPetersson-zs8wc There's lots of interesting things On the seabed when the tide goes out😂 I actually found a bottle of brown sauce in the sand ha🤣
❤

@gurmailnijjar6687 good morning to you too and yes we're doing great thank you for asking hope you're well too😊👍

@@happydace6991 thanks for the message we try to do something different every week but sometimes run out of ideas
Kingston Upon Hull is a City, not a town !
❤
I was fishing there the other day with rod just caught one because it started raining heavily lol
They look like Pollock mate well done mate
What a terrible way to catch fish, at least you put them back I suppose.
white lateral line colefish, black lateral line pollock
Should try July August when all the bait fish and mackerel are about. Saw you down there as we drove past, said to wife didn't think you'd catch much, couple little billit not bad
@weederfish9254 I've been to a few different places and that's the first time I've ever caught anything one day I'll catch a feast haha
You might want to read up on Net fishing byelaws 😉Do not use such as this in any UK fresh waters. EA catch you and they will prosecute you. You want your chum to be liquid, not frozen putting it out 10 or so mins before you cast your fist net. Any supermarket with a fish counter is a free source of chum = any fish bits. Old food processor, blend all down & store it refrigerated in an absolutely 100% liquid tight container because you do not want this leaking in your car or home 'you will never get the smell out' and you must use it the day you make it because outside of being refrigerated and within hours it will be absolutely vomit inducing rank.
that was amazing you actually caught something i was like no way you getting anything especially with how bad your doing it but bloody hell you got two well done
@philoffhistree6700 haha I was amazed myself that was the worst I ever throw the Net, Thank you😊
there baby pollock and the reason the iceblocks floated is the liquid is normal water not salt water .. normal water floats on top of salt water and oxygen is trapped when frozen so they become bouyant until completely defrosted then the bits will travel with witch ever way the tide is travelling
@philipsanders1894 thank you something new I've learnt 😊
Do you mean 'finally' not 'finely'?, confusing title, by the way I watched your previous.
😂 never been any good at spelling
billet
Well done you two ! Think there pollack
Thank you 😃
Think the fish are Coley. Or local name Billet. I.m sure someone will correct me if i.m wrong. Well done on the vlog. Very interesting 👍
@paulhilton9647 thank you and yes I'm sure someone will ha
Watch out all you TITANIC fishing boats in Scarbrough Harbour there’s a breakfast Iceberg afloat LOL.

Greetings from somewhere close to Fort Knox, Kentucky U.S.A.
Looked lovely there today guys. freeze your nuts off in Barnsley 🥶and gave a frost out tomorrow night . Good video 👍
@user-eh8ls3ob8g it's always a bit better weather down south isn't it in the summer months, I've been in the south in November and trust me it feels colder than down north🥶
Great vid , crab looked beautiful
@swiggy03 thank you, and yes it was 😋
i’ve got to say you persevered with that throw net maity for a good half hour i would have been the pub after 6 throws and a no show, keep it up with that net i loved it.
@codmaster622 ha thanks mate 👍 I've been pretty determined to catch something with it with no look unfortunately ha to be honest I've not used it for a while
Hi from memory when i used to fish at bridlington 40 years ago ime sure that your stood on the end of the sewer pipe, that’s where the water authority used to release the sewage at high tide, i dont know if they do that any more .
@codmaster622 I can't imagine they still do things like that but you never know ha, if they do it's a good job I never caught out isn't it😂
@@Ukvanaddict2023 We used to stand on the pier fishing looking at the clear water and you could see the water /sewage bubbling out of that tube and it used to turn all the sea right up to the pier brown and you could also see the toilet paper floating around the harbour ( sorry for being so explicit but thats how it was back then ) if I caught a flat fish off the pier i was exstatic but the locals would say dont eat that its a shitbutt short for halibut that eats SxxT
Looking forward to watching this later . Welcome back guys 🚐 👍
Where you parked was a rail line to the lighthouse and staff used a truck with a sail to travel by wind power. My Grandfather told me of the sea frozen over one year.
Wow looks good 😊
Nice pie ❤
It's blackberry lol
It's illegal to use cast nets in most of UKs estuary, best you stop or you could get a massive fine
Could
Always one it was fine
Just found your channel great uploads watch them all. And your got a great partnership with captain cook look forward for the new uploads
@paulcorbin7495 brilliant thanks for watching ha and I think she likes her new name 😀
We try to upload every Wednesday
Been using one for decades in NZ. I wouldn't even bother throwing it into that dirty water. Firstly you're not targeting anything, throwing blind, and secondly fish avoid that sort of water because it causes them gill damage. Biggest fish caught was a 750mm ( ish) Kingfish that simply smashed a hole in the net and was gone. I use it mainly to catch bait. Once on the West coast,Kawhia, saw nothing but threw it anyway. Had around 250 mullet in the net. Hard work lifting the net out of the water. Gave lots of bait away that day. Spot a John Dory and net it every time. You have another video in Scarborough. Get a small sack, scrounge some old fish frames, and put them in the sack with a rock to anchor it, then let it sit for 10 minutes. Let the fish come to you. Then throw next to the sack. On a high jetty just tie another rope on the end to extend it, and tie the far end to something solid. I catch eels with a cast net in rivers. Get the old Sheila to shine a torch to locate one, then switch off the beam and throw. They just sit still in the net. I spent a couple of weeks going around the coast of Devon and Cornwall a couple of years back. I'd give fishing away if I lived there. Dead compared to NZ. We have a 4x4 camper van, and never go hungry when carrying a cast net.
@@peterrhodes5663 I've mainly just been doing it for fun recently but definitely going to take your advice and put more effort to catch something in the future
As a scot living in Barnsley i can only apologise over the treatment of you . Please name and shame this place

You won't find much anywhere near the Tees estuary especially down tide. It's nothing to do with the dredging for the port.
