I work 35 hours aweek now, our hospital department has cut our hours back. I don't have money to start up a business. I am planning on retiring in 2 years 9 months from now, and would love to have a business online. I do physical work now, and my body aches after work. I'm in good muscular shape, but need to take it easier, as I'm older now. Could you point me in the right direction? I have several skills, but the Internet I believe would be better suited for me. Hopefully I can retire soon, and continue a small business.

Broke people do buy Rolex watches, to make them feel Rich, it's the oldest plain Obsolescence trick in the book of Marketing to people, Gucci, Louis Vuitton brands like that are specifically marketed to the poor, and middle class people, people whom can't really afford it but buy it anyways, then they are is massive debt, Upper Middle class, lower middle class does not matter, they buy labels and Status image, not quality, it's just like with cars, I used to sell Mercedes and see the different people, I could easily tell which ones could afford it, and which ones could not actually afford it, most of the time when people were wearing $10,000 in fashion they could not afford the sticker price in the windshield, but they could afford the lease payments, The One's whom could afford it most of the time, and could easily write a check for the whole thing right away, just dressed very common, no fancy labels or anything, just like this guy here flashing his Rolex, He'll probably be broke in the next 5 years, and have to sell his watch he gave $15,000 dollars for or whatever, it's all part of a marketing scheme really, Rolex makes a good product, but about 55% of their sales to clients can't actually afford them, plus you have to be on waiting list for over a year a lot of times and everything, I have seen a lot more Rich people buy Omega most of the time, Because they can walk in get the watch with no issues, so people might flash it, but it does not always mean they can afford it.

I started with a $6k used Tacoma, a tool box, 2 B&G cans, a state and county license, a commercial account at a supplier. Took 2 months to get started and through all the crap. $7k. I do light duty residential general pest control maintenance. Monthly or bimonthly with a hand tank or backpack. 15 stops a day on busy days. 3 stops an hour. Houses take 10 min to do exterior foundation, perimeter, valve boxes, garage and inside upon request. Average 8 minutes. Average $40/mo. 3 stops an hour $120/hr. I'm in that kind of market.

Plenty of jobs pay enough for you to accumulate more than more than $5 million. To name a few: doctor, lawyer, some finance jobs, tech positions, engineering, pilot, ect.

Lol so close... business owners are generally (a) affluent so can afford the risk (b) incapable of calculating risk vs reward and dont understand the risk associated with the business, hence most businesses failing... The a students often see the safer path to more certain stability (salary) and so pursue it unless their life affords them an alternative goal (do not need to work to support oneself). There are exceptions but general trend is as above... Every person that i know who started a business (except 1) had their schooling paid for by parents, or its some BS "hustler" business that they are losing money doing.
