Someone’s got round up the ‘recalls to prison’. Rehabilitation obviously failed last time. I spoke to his friend off camera and he was going back for another stretch in Chelmsford nick.

He was doing himself proud. The domestic violence must’ve been awful lol. A friend of his told me off camera that he was wanted on recall to prison. He obviously failed to turn his life around since when he was last inside.

Not the best turn out I’ve seen. The Police Station isn’t far away👍🏼

They had to call for a couple of black n whites!

It looks quite quaint as you enter from the Station Bridge. You get inside and you could clearly see why it was shut down. Woodhill was modern 90s build. It was my local prison in 2005. I could think of worse places to be locked up. No mice!

@@EdWeeks999 i was not in jail long only 3 years but I arrived at the Dana I was shocked at the state of it inside. That is 1 old jail.

@@theonlycureistostopcomplyi6612 I flew my drone over from The Dana side. The wall the other side, where you’re not overlooked by houses was perfect for throw overs. They built an extension to the wall where C Wings exercise yard is. They got a good brick match lol

Here’s one for you Rishi. Pontins have just closed 2 of its holiday resorts. That’s a whole shed load of rooms empty. We have thousands living on the streets. It’s winter. Wet and cold. Put them in the empty holiday resorts 🤷‍♂️ The prison was clearly given a facelift after Strangeways and is unfit for use as a 21st century prison unfortunately. I make reference to the exposed plumbing in all the cells. You wouldn’t see that at a post mid 80s built prison. It would all be concealed, for good reasons. One is the ease of flooding one’s cell, which had obviously happened in some cells. Two is the ease of which one could string up. That and the wall that is to low to stop ‘parcels’ being thrown in was probably just some of the reasons it closed. Observations are made on my GoPro video of the inside that I still need to upload.

Hatfield an Stevenage the only custody suites. A lot have turned part time stations. The only front counters open from 0800-2000 are Hatfield and Stevenage. The rest are part time at best. Hertford is appointment only !

I’ve never had the privilege lol. Hertford, when it was a real Police station, and Stevenage but not here. It was a good little tour. I want to do Shrewsbury prison but my lift pulled out. That’ll probably be next month now. 👍

I tried that @DeanChapmanFPV , I tried just not on video. You’re instructed via on screen prompts to open them on the compass calibration but not IMU calibration. Got another one coming between 1800 & 2200 hours. I will try again. I seen a couple of RUclips videos about the same problem. I’m hoping for no problems on the replacement and I’ll definitely tag you into the first flight. Thanks for your help mate. I hope it takes seconds to calibrate on them one. At bit like DJI tutorials it t👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
