I appreciate that feedback Paq. I'll provide a simple answer for viewers and a more technical one for the filmmakers out there. I left the microphone in purposefully for each of the 8 episodes. Thus far, I haven't decided to change that. Instead, I'm leaning towards making the clip black and white or another color to make the distinction. Then it will quickly switch back to color. I like the behind the scenes (bts) or documentary style feel of it. It's in the same frame as the color segment but I feel the difference tonally whenever that color change occurs. When that mixing segment happened the first time, I didn't ask The WineOpreneur to redo it because it was so natural. Therefore, I wouldn't need to reposition the microphone twice (when she stands and once she sits down). It's a fairly easy thing to do (reposition the mic) but I chose to keep the audio levels the same for the rest of the show outside of the mixing segment. In other words, I limit the amount of times I reposition the mic. If I moved it, I'd have to remeasure the distances between each person and the microphone. I then have to document the point at which I made the change. Otherwise the audio level changes. Note: I spent a week on audio levels for the the 1st 3 episodes. I wanted to spend that time on another aspect of the show such as promotions and music.
