In this video I'll will show you how to change the language in Halo Master Chief Collection. For some reason when you start the game for the first time, the language setting is in Korean.

The biggest xbox game ever and they fuck this up?
I found a fix for those who cant even see «english» written in english. All the language names were in chinese for me. Follow this video to 0:30. Make sure the symbols in the options match the ones on your screen. (It had traded places for me) At 0:34 youre where the languages are. If you press LEFT all the way to the end, youve landed on german. The language just to the RIGHT of german is english. I found it out after just truing and having to dowload a 2gb patch for german lol. But atleast i could find english :) Hope it helps.
I thought i found a fix. Now its still just loading. Wrote the comment while waiting. Guess i gotta try again! 🙁
I closed the game and started it again and went to the same place. This time it asked me to download a language pack for english and now its actually in english! So it worked.

I have watched the video several times, all the settings are the same, but at the end the language menu does not allow me to change!!
You still have same problem? Cuz i fixed it with google lens maybe you can try it too
What worked for me was just clicking one and download the language pack, first by mistake I took the Spanish one and then it was just one click away from english. maybe this works for you.
Same problem here. I just tried to change language on my Xbox console and now when im starting MCC it automatically ask me to download English pack. I hope this will work now

@@Hcmpus Uninstall and reinstall the game after switching the console to English. That worked for me after having the same issues as you.

Why the f is this even a problem to begin with? Had the same problem with infinite when it came out and the game decided I should play it in german. Never had these problems with any games ever, only halo games the last few years
To me all the language options were in Korean too, so i went to left most language. It happened to be danish, then i went again to the settings and found english.

Same I fucking hate this it's not like it was that expensive it's but still annoying
If it didn't work for you, my tip is to go to the settings on your Xbox console. Change the language to English. (I did that from Norwegian). Then when you boot MCC you can DL a language pack for English. Then i restarted MCC twice and the language swapped.
For some reason, my mcc won't enable other languages, it asks me to install, and after doing so i still can't change it to the desired language.

Ive had almost the same problem. when i changed the last setting, my console still didnt show another language right away because i didnt confirm it. Finally i Just changed it to the first possibility and saved and after that my game installed an update and after that it changed to German.. but at least now i could change it to english and now its downloading another update. I guess that this will finally fix it...
