They should have kept the old fashioned "this is a (destination) bound M train" announcements. Saying local between bound and M is okay, but I like these announcements better.
Richard Clarke everyone by now knows that the M is a local. In fact, maybe these announcements will play when they reroute the M to replace the D to Coney Island (which I doubt will happen anyway... but who knows?)

At 2:43, why is the annoucement to Fulton st by Jessica Ettinger-Gottesman?
No idea. I guess when the station was renamed from Broadway-Nassau St to Fulton St a few years back, they picked a station recording randomly. That recording from the Lex is also used for the F via Cranberry routes on the R160s.

It's unfortunate, but it had nothing to do with who was in power at the time. The budget needed to be balanced regardless. Besides, the 6th Ave M provides better service than the Nassau M.

you are right. btw whatever videos you post are the best. plus nassau M and 6 av M are the same. except their color and route. brown m is for bay pkwy to middle village. 6 av m is forest hills 71st av to middle village.
The fact that the TA had to cut lines like the brown (M) and the (W) makes me sick. Thank god Jay whats-his-face doesn't run the company anymore. Nice video by the way.
