Concrete Genie Animation Reel

Here's a collection of animations I've made when I was on Concrete Genie's pre-production stage. I got to explore each bully's personalities and had to act out how each would with their types. I also got the chance to explore how Ash would interact with the environment as well. Though it's only pre-production work, I still had a blast working on this project and I'm proud of the game's outcome!

I'm still learning Blender and why not use the opportunity to practice modeling a character from one of my favorite animated films, "The Secret of NIMH" Entirely modeled in Blender 2.8. I never thought Leo would be that annoying to Donnie! And it's weird that Leonardo and Donatello are twins! In this version of TMNT Leo is the oldest twin but he's so annoying and I thought he was supposed to be the leader! But it makes sense since the same guy who did Dewey duck from DuckTales did the voice for Leonardo and later on he did the voice of Sonic the hedgehog in the movie such a coincidence! And blue is definitely a perfect color for that guy I wonder if it's his favorite!? Well it's my favorite! 💙🩵💙🩵💙🩵

Sometimes I think I can’t 2-D animate, then I see stuff like this and realize…I was right, I cannot 2-D animate.
awwww nonono of COURSE you can still 2d animate!! All it takes is lots of practice and learning from your own mistakes~ Mistakes are TOTALLY okay and you learn more from them :)
