You started the year off with saying 2024 had to be about Wind surf, so light wind or heavy wind it is.... And some how it always picks up. My lake ice is gone so this week we had a little breeze, yahoo, first one of the year.

Good one, with the year of the Dragon here it hits the spot. Once upon a time I carved a cedar entrance way and signs for a Yoga studio. The woman who owned the place often spoke of the 'depth' of her practice. I recall answering her that I experienced the exact same 'zone' - even with my flat water blasting. Still feel that way.

Thanks Bernd, great video! I love the creativity and playfulness of your sailing. It's so inspiring, refreshing and different to most of the content and sailing from the rest of the industry. Watching your videos this year has really helped me release more creativity in my sailing again. Which has taken my experience of windsurfing back in time to when I was a kid, just enjoying the moment, flowing with the conditions, and going for whatever the conditions offer me. No move checklist, no pressure, no stress, just smiles and pure enjoyment! Thanks dude, keep on playing, creating and ripping, and share it all! The windsurfing world needs more of your approach.

Seriously thought of putting the windsurf gear away in 2023 at 70 years old maybe it was time then bam I had two of the best back to back wave sailing days in the last 10 years. 2024 who knows.

Thank's for your inspirational words and clips. I think that I can get a glimpse of what you mean when sharing this passion with others. This year my 11 y old son learned to windsurf. We go sailing together on a small lake and it's amazing to watch his progress. I also teached a teenage nephew to ws, and I could see the happiness in her face when she got it. Although I used to sail in waves, the best part has been when I go cruising in this lake on a 200 lts board and a 5.2 sail with my 9 y old daughter sitting in front of the board. Greetings form Chile.

I’ve been watching windsurfing videos since the summer of 2023. It’s a dream of mine to own windsurf gear. I’m currently low on cash and I’m 22 years old. Hopefully, I can get to try windsurfing for the first time by this year from paying someone to teach me on their gear. 🙏 Also, thank you for sharing this video.❤️
