I have an idea for that one "plan your year page" You could write lists at the top of shows/movies you wanna watch, games you wanna play, and books you wanna read and stuff like that. then for the squares at the bottom, you could fill them at the end of each month with all your favorite media you consumed that month. Love seeing you journals its giving me so much inspo!!

It’s such a cute book, love that your deco often matches your green notebook cover so well😍 for that page you don’t know what to do with, maybe you could use the big spaces to describe or capture a moment of the day in writing that corresponds to the picture-a-month you want to do at the bottom of the page? Or for miscellaneous ephemera!

Love seeing your journal. Those monthly boxes like you said are good for photo a month , top space could be a big photo - one of maybe you and then on other page one of you and family or something like that? Pet? Or you at start of the year and you at end of the year? I don't know just throwing ideas out there 😅😅 xx

It seems to me like the smash books and junk journals took a lot of their ideas from common placing . Because they seem very similar concepts to me with regards to some of their contents.

I just did a quick scan on your RUclips channel and i immediately fell in love with the whole vibe you bring in. I started a commonplace notebook yesterday but it didn't looked as aesthetically pleasing as i hoped to be, but then i realized with time, this will be the most precious treasure to me, of course it won't be "pleasing" all the time because it's supposed to be "random" at a chance. It will all collect together to create the core of myself and who i am. Ty for this video.

I've realised I was doing this as a kid. like cutting magazines and writing stuff next to them, writing quotes and lyrics, keeping lists of songs and movies before watchlists exist. I remembered how good it felt to do something with my hands. Thanks for inspiring me 🪽 I've started right away
