Thanks for explaining your techniques clearly. I had wondered if you used the knockout method for layering. I guess the different HTVs can be successfully layered. How do they hold up in the wash? Also, I heard someone say on RUclips that if you want your videos to be monetized, they have to be at least 8 minutes long. This man has taught everyone in his family how to start RUclips channels and get paid doing it. He used to be a school teacher, and now he’s retired and solely doing RUclips videos. I watch several monetized channels. I just haven’t had the courage to do videos myself. Oh… I watch several crafters who do LONG livestreams, and get paid as well as get sent lots of equipment to review because they have so many subscribers. You might already know about this, but I just wanted to share it in case you didn’t. I hope I haven’t offended you in any way. I just wanted to share some helpful information with you because you do some AMAZING designs. I’m glad I happened upon your channel. I am a new subscriber because I love all of your helpful shorts. Thank youuu!! I use the knockout method only if the design looks better with it but once you know which htv can be layered, then it doesn’t really matter if you do either one.. it holds up in the wash with proper washing technique but it’s HTV so it won’t last forever.. And No, videos don’t have to be a certain length of time to be monetized. I am new to this YT channel but have had two other monetized channels in the past. Some people make them longer because , depending on how their audience responds, they may watch the whole thing which increases their chances of getting to the watch time (hours) requirement. I’m honestly fine with slow progression, I’m at 20k on my TT and monetized there and just now getting back into YT. I work FT so this isn’t something I’m rushing to do in order to get addt income but it would be nice eventually 🤣.. I def appreciate the info and you absolutely didn’t offend me at all!

Eventually it will because it’s htv but it does last for a while depending on HOW it’s being washed for sure..

If I want to make my own t shirts what do I need to get started?
I can only go on MY opinion and I’m a novice so I would def reach out to those who have found success in their business if you’re really trying to create a business. But if you want to create shirts for yourself, family/friends or even for groups on a smaller scale - I would say to decide what type of tshirts you want to create, what medium you will use (vinyl, dtf, sublimation, embroidery), and who your customers will be.. those will determine if you need to start buying bulk tshirts (if you’re aiming for groups), start learning design programs, grab a heat press IF you’re doing HTV, set a partnership with a DTF transfer company IF that’s the route you’re going, etc. I think once you kind of narrow down what type of shirts you want to make and what medium you want to use-you can take it from there

@@michaellaperksahhhh got you! Then if you want to do it, start with a cutting program (I only use Cricut but there are others like Silhouette), a cutting machine, some HTV vinyl, a heat press and just creativity and you’re there! And just practice practice practice and you will be great! ❤
