Hello, my name is Joaquin Fitzsimmons and I’m currently the Assistant Drum Major of Santa Cruz High School in Santa Cruz CA. Here’s where I post some of my competition runs!
I’m currently a Junior and compete in the Masters Division (AMDC) and the Open Division (Northern California Band Association).
I once won the AMDC Finals in the Majors Division, so that’s pretty cool I guess...

Oh dear, the kilt is worn far too long. The bottom of the kilt is customarily between the top of the knee and half way down the knee. The poor lad is wearing a skirt!
