hey ive been trading on and off for the past 4-5 years whenever i was motivated, kinda gave up on the dream ngl. out of pure coincidence, in early december 2024, i met a guy on a video game that trades as well. he happens to live in the same city as me. he mentored me 1 on 1 for free literally every day until like 2 weeks ago. bro i literally just locked myself up in my room, ghosted my high ticket sales job which i make decent money at, and pursued this dream once again but the only difference was that it was discipline this time. glued to my screen for 10-15hrs a day. of how serious i realized i was taking it, in mid december, i decided to stop smoking weed, stop any form of nicotine, and alcohol. and bro i was addicted to those 3 since i was 14-15. i even re started going to the gym every morning. my life literally switched bias lol. during the past two months, even with my mentor, i managed to blow a funded account. no clear and precise trading plan, no risk management plan, no journaling. i must say youre right about the high ticket thing, i ignored his advice multiple times, most likely because it was free right. after blowing my account everything he was telling me on repeat just hit me and i went crazy precise and clear with my trading plan and with my risk management for hours and hours. literally bro i know im so close now all i need is to get ahold of my emotions, and journal them. in the next couple days when that will be fixed i will be profitable. i got a new challenge like 10days ago, my second one, and i wouldve passed it with the only 3 trades i took on it if i only didnt let my greed and fear take control and sticked to my trading plan which was so fucking simple to follow. alright enough yap lol ill just tell u smtg before i go, congrats on hitting 10k subscribers on youtube bro!

I don't get why you didn't just start journalling on an excel spreadsheet and then utilise the data onto tables to see % win rate depending on sessions, confluences such as 1/4 hour candles etc etc instead of paying for FXReplay

dude im somewhat in the same spot. i had to find an entire new model, but my new mentor is amazing. The model is difficult, but bro its clicking in my mind slowly. Once I can pin point ts on live charts its only up from that point I swear. The people who continuously doubt this dream are only trapped by their own beliefs.
