Hey thanks 🙏 for your kind words! It means a lot! Well the endurneck and the slope of the fanfret are really not that noticeable since it's a 6-string guitar. So no big surprises there. The spacing of the strings is a little tighter than usual and the radius is pretty flat to be honest. So if you're a classic strat person that might throw you off. It might take some getting used to. Also the fact that there is no head might confuse your visual aspect of the fretboard. Last but not least the dots are tiny and until the 12rh fret are almost being completely covered by the 6th string, which in low light situations might seem confusing. But they're glowing in the dark if you have a half-decent 🔦 torch at hand

Thanks for your comments. I'm quite aware that the song was written by Eugene McDaniels, and recorded originally by Roberta Flack. It's just that D'Angelos version was my particular inspiration. Eventho I'm a huge fan of some other artists who recorded it as well, I didn't actually love this song until I heard D'Angelos very unique interpretation.

well when you reinterpret a song, that interpretation becomes yours, especially if there are some distinct differences in instrumentation. real ones will always know the song is Roberta Flacks, but with the energy you're putting out, you could also be upset that D'Angelo himself didnt put her name in the song title

D’Angelo didnt put Roberta Flacks name anywhere when he released his version of the song. people still knew it was a reinterpretation of her song. if it was on his youtube page, that still means that her name isnt in the title regardless. doesnt matter, nor is it even seen as “taking credit”

Hey thanks a lot for your kind words! Since it's a iv,-7 -V7-i-7 - iV-7 in F minor you can use the F minor pentatonic (blues as well) , natural minor also on the V7 (C7) you can use some altered type scales (mixolydian b9, b13, whole tone scale, altered scale etc..)

Dunno I'm sure if I'm getting what you're saying but sometimes I'll write it down one way and when I play it live I might slightly change the fingering. Some transcriptions might be made some weeks or months ago so I might play a note or two in a different place than written. apologist
