K1 slants on 90 degree turns every time. Sad--because I want to use the K1.

i just did comparison with my gopro hero 6 and it looks 99 % same colors and quality

you cant make a comparsion when you have the gimbal speed on normal! Turn it on slow then it will looking smoother

My immediate comments are the the black level on the Sony is better and the lens distortion is less. But lens distortion can be corrected as can an increase of black level. I don't know what the price difference is and price always plays a large part in these issues. I was looking at buying a K1, but got offered a really minimally used OSMO for about 1/2 the cost of the new K1. I am sure the K1 is great value for money.

Great comparison. Im surprised the K1 image quality is almost on par with the Sony. Just a shame it has such unusual lense distortion. The K1 has far less horizontal distortion than the x3000 but has a lot of vertical distortion, causing the image to stretch out of shape, which in turn makes panning shots very un-natural. I also noticed that the horizon was occasionally out of level on the K1.

Nice Job ! The K1 is more Ninja walking ( bouncing up and down ) than the Sony but this all depend of the guy filming ! Overall they look good both to me . I love the colors of the K1 and i love more the K1 ...sure i have one ! Even two ! Did some video on my RUclips chanel whit it and also have some similar to your's . I will subscibe to your chanel to see what you will be doing , would be nice if you do the same ! Keep up the K1 going ! Have a nice day ! 😉👍🏼🎥

sony gives the most natural color and the faster smooth change wb and exposure i've ever seen in sportcam ever (not always perfect wb is good wb if you SEE colors how it should look ;) ), but shape makes few problems (gimbals, central-head and chest mounth), what gimbal do you use with sony? k1 is really good compare to sony, but this angle with much less distortions and built in OIS is amazing (still waiting for new x3000 :P). removu has problem with tilt in one side.

The K1 wins on color saturation, but the exposure is a bit brighter on the Sony. It’s a tough call, but maybe give the edge to the Sony. One thing to remember is the FW updates to the brand new K1 should continue to improve it over the coming months.

After watching,i have a feeling......sony is better than k1
