I've been playing since I was a kid, but with no teacher. I have almost no knowledge about music theory, only know how to read single notes. But it was always my dream to learn all those things. This channel is really inspiring and helpful. :D

I am a music teacher, I sing, I conduct and I demonstrate. Sometimes all the words do not make sense to the student or me and sometimes these students need demonstration. Sometimes my students blow my mind when they follow my directions and it works! I ❤ my job!

I had #1 and it made me quit their whole music school, then I went to a private studio where the teacher is a mix of 2 and 3, love it

My favorite teacher was the philosophical one, he was a sweet old man with a foreign accent, I miss him Then right after I had one conducting and singing, that I hated lol

I have definitely had 1, 3, and 4 not 2 yet lol

there should be a horror game where the piano teacher jumpscares you if you make too many mistakes, the first mistake youre fine, their eye flinches, but as you keep making more they keep twtiching, and the heartbeat sound effect in the background gets louder and faster and everything gets blurry until you die

Each of these teachers are 99% very annoying expecially when they interrupt you at the very first bars.

this helped a lot, oh my god. I feel like I learned a new language!

I used to think that the only way to progress in piano was to practice an obscene amount of hours a day. So I would inevitably feel guilty whenever I only practiced for an hour a day (sometimes even less) But despite my thinking that I wasn't practicing enough, I somehow eventually became proficient in piano. I now learn complex songs fairly quickly, and can sight read quite well. It really does come down to consistency and practicing the parts that need more attention. It would be difficult for me to practice three hours a day. My brain would eventually become fried, and the rest of my practice would just be mindless playing. This goes for many things honestly, not just piano. Great video. Just wanted to share this in case someone is feeling the same way I used to about practicing.
