What paints do you like to use?
When I use acrylic I use whatever I find at the hobby store. Alcohol ink I use Copic, Filler and Primers I only use Dupli-Color.

This lightsaber is awesome and so huge as well it’s almost a long sword or a Zweihänder because of using two hands for both said swords otherwise it’s awesome 🤘🧡⚔️

Dude your awesum so don’t be so hard on yourself … just with the costume did u buy the boots with the costume and what were the gloves like and secondly how dose the printed shoulder guards attach , thank u for your time
Damn-all great questions probably should have mentioned 🤣 I did get the boots with costume, which are very short boots but comes with gaiters. I ended up just wearing black sneakers with the gaiters for all day comfort. The gloves are nice, and come with the match leather looking hand guards, but I did replace those with 3D printed and painted hand guards to match the gauntlets. The shoulders have a strap that goes around my bicep, and I attached a heavy duty snap on both sides of the shoulders and added the snaps to the under shirt just outside the edge of the vest. So I just slip them up my arm and attach to the snaps. Feel free to DM on insta, I can share a photo

I installed a DV6 from KR and it also had a 31mm speaker and I too was very underwhelmed by the speaker I personally think a fully inclosed 28mm speaker sounds better, like you said it sounds good but not as good as I thought when I turned it on definitely the last time I get a 31mm speaker saber.

just bought the files! Any recommend for infill and support setting? Im new for 3d print.
Lately I’ve been doing 15% infill, which more than you need, I just like stuff to feel ridged. Supports I tend to use auto supports, but really depends on how you orientate the model on the print bed.

Why do people keep saying SaberTheory is a fake/scam and guardio keeps blocking me from accessing their site and declaring it a malicious site? Are their raffles and giveaways a scam? What's going on? I'm seeing so much mixed feedback on it and I don't know who or what to believe.

Your alumaluster application is great! Ive gotta ask, because I am having such a hard time finding any info online, do you have any advice or tips about spraying it. I have a mini HPLV touch up gun gun and i have a proper automotive spray gun. any tips on nozzle size? PSI to spray it at? distance from the part? fluid or fan settings? dry times? anything? lol I really love your work on this! Thank you!
Check out Darryl @offearth3d channel for a how to video, that’s who I learned from, he great! I used a touch up, want to say a .8mm needle at ~30-35psi. Honestly it’s way more forgiving than you would expect, I’ve done ultra light passes and too heavy, but it always kinda still looks great. I did a RUclips live a few videos earlier than this one. I was painting some inquisitor masks, but you can watch me spray real time to get better sense of application maybe.

Sorry I don’t, I usually just search Hobart shield on Amazon and buy what pops up. Although if you get an option for thickness go thinner, like 4mil is easier to cut than 6mil

Just the mask. Also nice for cosplay/conventions. Like all you need is a hood, plus way more comfortable to wear
@@TheBrodalorian I'm planning on doing the full helmet just cause I can't get my hood to stay on properly. I would velcro it down but I tried that and it looked weird. Lol
@@boomie2000 my friend just had the same problem, he had a pretty genius fix, he put magnet under the mask, just past the forehead and sewed the magnet into the seam of the cape. It’s works really good too, his hood always stays right where it needs to

What grit of sandpaper did you use on the uv resin
I used a medium grit like 220 to cut a little faster, then follow up with moderate 400 wet sand. No need to go higher because the filler primer will fill the 400 grit sand lines
I use a Q-tip and resin for filling smaller imperfections or holes, used to use wood filler but resin is cheaper and quicker also less sanding
I’ve also learned since making this video that adding some baby powder to the resin makes it even easier to sand. Try it out!
