God I still remember the fight I had with time on either d8-9 but I had built a deck which essentially let me apply loads of barrier on myself while healing, essentially a stall deck. What really made it hell though was her stealing one of the buffs I was just using to gain health, and it switched from me stalling to her stalling somehow. Eventually it just turned into slowly withering time’s health down as I barely kept myself alive. I still lost the fight in the end but it was cinematic how I went out taking like 60 dmg in one turn as she used a card to damage my hp equal to my barrier.

I almost wish she had more BS abilities. In Scarlet, she only really has Time Limit. In Sapphire she can half the phase count (usually using it at the end of phase 4, setting to 2 and progressing to 3). It would be cool if she has some more time powers. Imagine if she could set both sides' health back two phases, or apply a debuff's effects all at once (2 bleeding dealing 5 damage then disappearing, 3 venom dealing 12 damage, etc), or modify your card cooldowns. Edit: I forgot she got the ability to set your max health to 0 in Sapphire. Seems a bit detached from her theme, but it does make one pretty desperate.

Tbh it woulda been so cool to hear this in full orchestra. I assume the whole reason (or at least in universe) that the soundtrack only has piano is because Lucia (I think that's her name?) Always played piano. But Time killed Lucia, so it'd make sense to hear Time's theme in full orchestra, really settling in her vibe of an omnipotent threat. You can kill her as many times as you'd like, but she'll still come back. She works as a really wonderful final boss.
