​I am a wife and mother of 2 with a passion for all things homesteading, homemaking, and homeschooling.

​ In 2018, my husband and I bought our 5 acre homestead property and built that homestead from the ground up. I quit my job and became a homeschooling, homesteading, homemaker. We had a dream and a passion to raise our children at home and live a simple, more self sustaining lifestyle.

Fast forward to 2022, our passions and goals for our homesteading lifestyle had grown tremendously, leading to us searching for a more private acreage with more than 5 acres. That is when we found our 20 acre homestead in the woods. Raw, wild acreage waiting to be tamed.

We sold our 5 acre homestead, moved into a camper with an outhouse, and buckled down for the journey we had just began out here at Growing Oaks Homestead.
