Such an amazing piece of music and totally beyond the playing ability of most guitarists on this planet. I think young Matteo could probably do it. Interesting to see him play on stage with Al who is a fan. Maybe Guthrie could do it but it's not really his style. To conceive such a piece of music and to play it, is beyond my comprehension. Maybe Al is an alien like AH.

I think I' ve listened this track more than 1000 times.... How can a human being sings in this way? Many good singers tried, but nobody of them went so deeply inside this dreaming/floating and impressionistic score. I love the mythical version played by Bill Evans and Stan Getz, but surely believe that this version is something that is comparable with the original. Mark was at the same level of Bill and Stan. The greatest jazz singer of all times. Simply this.
