For an early access game, this feels incredibly polished. Reading through the Discord it seems like there may be some skill balancing needed, but the amount of content and fun packed into the game at this price point makes me feel like I'm robbing the developers.

The Science and the In Your Element can be incredibly broken builds. Definately get the magic hats as well, they can greatly increase the are covered on the talent tree

I dont know if youve learnt this, but the epics and abilities get revealed when you get 10 talents away from them, so when you discovered the xp ability, it basically told you it was closer to go from the top way than go from the way down at the bottom.

The katana is strong, but to be honest I can’t see a reason to ever use melee weapons over guns in this game. There’s no reward for it and it just makes the game harder.

Could you call this a tower defense game? If you consider the player the defensive structures that halt enemy progression and also the base to be protected I think it kind of works.
