Shot video
This video is really deep. Make sure you have your hip waders on. Clear case of AI taking various facts, and then deducing some significance to them, without any relation to the context. The '70s was a time of automotive regulations gone crazy, with emission standard before any technology existed to comply, safety regulations that went nuts, and more. Overall, Chevrolet handled it about as well as everyone else. Can we say 1974 Mustang II? The 1980 Corvette with a 305 may have been down on power, but the optional path would have been NO Corvettes sold in California. It was only 10 hp less than the L48 350 in the 48 states. Also, this AI has no clue about the 300 hp cars of the '60s and the 195 hp of the '70s. One is SAE Gross and the other SAE Net. The difference is not nearly as much as the AI claims. The Crossfire Injection was not as bad as claimed, but it had been designed for a 305, making it not nearly as good for a 350. It was also an interim fix for emissions until the Tuned Port Injection was ready. Most cars simply got the "big two barrel" version of the TBI, so the Crossfire as an attempt using two TBI units to get more breathing. The real issue on the '82 was the sales of automatics only. Most cars shown are not what you are talking about. Most information is questionable at best. A thumbs down for ripping us off.
74 was only year of split rear, not last.
305 was not 180hp. Less
Check what the last mint H2 sold for at mecum auction. 55k
I have 0wned 3 on this list lol and presently own a 1975 L82 4-speed Convertible Red with Red leather interior. It may be on your list but I love it.
That L82 cam plus some Vortec truck heads and retuning can bump it to 450 hp...
The 1953 Corvette has the blue flame straight six but the pictures show a V8?
The '97 had poor handling and was hated? I've never heard that before.
Just another negative clickbait A.I. hate video... lots of them these days... no Corvettes were ever hated...
I second that.
I have a 1977 Corvette it does not have any EPA and it has reclining sets and air conditioning and everything you could put in on because it's not a production model it's a pilot car that was to be destroyed but didn't because my uncle was vice president of GM and my grandpa is related to Louis Chevrolet and I got this car when I was 16 years old and I still have it and if they would have made this car it would have cost 10.980.50 at that time and that is fully loaded
YOU ARE WRONG THE BEST MOTORCYCLE OF THE 70s WAS THE GS 1000 E !!!!!
I've owned a '77 KZ1000 since New. It has about 60,000 miles on it & it is bullet proof. It was the next gen of the Z1. We'll built & strong engines.
If you know anyhting about engines you know the images don't match what he is describing. Bad video.
The 4.3 L Vortech is an amazing engine. We’ve never had any issues with any of ours and we’ve owned several.
gutless
3 of these are really good engines.
Why does he repeatedly show a V-8 while saying "inline-4"?
I still ride my 1998 XT 500 Thumper, never fails 🎉
Honda CB750.
Had the 79 cb750 f. Fast and reliable. Great handling.
Great Video!
Legend? A legend is an unsubstantiated myth. So it could be great or it could be all shiit. Or both. If its a Honda Legend.
Herrlich! Mit diesen Motorrädern bin ich erwachsen geworden!
I plan to keep my '75 Yamaha XS650B (second one) 'til I die. It's just too easy to maintain, and I like the easy kick start vs the electric-only of two of my other bikes. Cam chain adjustment & valve lash are super easy, and syncing the carbs between cleaning them really keeps 'er running smoothly. btw, A sleeper I wish I'd kept was a Suzi Titan & a near miss was a 750 Water Buff whose owner passed while we were negotiating.
In America the XS650 was produced from 1970 through 1983.
I have a 1968 CB250KO that I have owned since 1973, I'm British so the 250 was more popular because you could ride it on L plates, I also have a GSX1100ET from 1980 which if I remember correctly was about the fastest Japanese bike you could buy at the time, it was also a fairly good handler at the time despite its bulk, I owned that since 1986
They have a specific model of each engine size, I had an SL350K2 which was every bit as good as if not better than a CB350. But yes I wish I still had it.
I wish I had my 71 Honda SL350 again.
Those 2 strokes and their frequent oil changes 🙄
Regular in a two-stroke 😂😂😂 that man should do stand-up comedy 😂😂😂
Yea I caught that too.
Don’t forget to clean the carburettors ........
And adjust those valves..😂
If the Kawasaski is aoming the best, I'd hate to have ridden the worst.
Really these should be researched better everyone I've watched has misinformation
They UN retired F117!
1980 suzuki GS 850L 4cyl, was a good bike too own..
Old designs outdated we've already fell behind China they already have their 6th generation are fighter out and their weapons is crazy
Very interesting video well done ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
Never sell it!leave it for your grave!! Every stupid person comes up with some hot statement to attract viewers!
When I saw the title of this video I knew I would regret it. This was confirmed when I saw that I had owned the first two bikes on this list in the 1980's. lol The Kawasaki was a true rocket. It was light in the front end at high speeds, but a blast to ride. The Suzuki was the first bike I had after the Kawi, It was more of a cruiser and felt a little under powered after the Kawasaki. Before anyone asks, yes, I do regret selling them. 😀
I owned the Yamaha RD400, Honda CB750, and I rode a Z1. The Z1 was the best.
Bro what did they think our world would be like in the future?
First
My uncle had an FMC 2900R, and he drove it all up and down the west coast in the 70s and 80s, and he loved it. He had a closed off room in the back, with padlocks on the door. I don't know why, the only thing in there was a bed, and a bunch of hooks and chains all over. Oh and a toolbox filled with just medical devices like clamps, duct tape, knives and ball gags.
Whoever this narrator is, he doesn't know his rvs. Has he ever owned or driven these motorhomes? It's one thing to say a vehicle is awful if you have first hand experience with a particular vehicle, but without first hand driving and ownership experience, how the hell can someone criticize something?
Hey man! How do i contact you.
I actually owned and rode a Velocette LE in the 1970s while I was rebuilding my Norton. Why? My Father had one and said it was great. When I had it my neighbor who was a police superintendent came round to see me. He didn't do that often so many joints I was smoking. He loved that bike I could see. It was made for the police. However, the truth of the LE rests in my friend Who rode CB Hondas and H2 Kawasakis. He took a Vellocette LE round Ireland and found a beutiful country, at the speed that it merited to see.
these bike's are being judged from an I am a bigboy point of view
