The issue is that Jenga isn’t comparable to the Twin Towers. The Twin Towers had a central pillar system, which allowed for completely open floors. Then you have to add in the massive structure tub under the building. There’s a great documentary by Ric Burns called “New York” and after 9/11 they spoke with the men behind the building. It’s quite a remarkable look at the buildings, the concerns during construction, and the miracle that the building did not fall outward.

believe nothing. esp the ravings of 9/11 conspiracy nutjobs. it should be obvious why the towers did not topple sideways. the huge mass involved. the uncontrolled fire spanning the building, which weakening the columns fairly uniformally. and collapse from the top down. comparing it to a few wooden blocks is moronic. all the other reasons to doubt what was actually filmed are similarly feeble and easily debunked. it would be pretty sad if mayal believed in the 9/11 nonsense. still, he was a comedian, not an engineer or architect, so it hardly matters.

I’m intrigued but a few too many people who watched this are actually believing conspiracy theories and unless the scene is rebutted later I’m going to find this a tough watch.

The buildings fell in place because, 1) The horizontal trusses at the point of impact failed due to extreme heat from fire. 2) The downward force of the weight of the floors above the point of impact could not be supported by each floor below. 3) The amount of force falling downward gained exponentially with each floor failing at the truss attachment point. 3) The Towers were constructed in a way so that the steel girders on the outer edges provided most of the vertical support thereby containing the material of the building in a vertical fall. If they were only exposed to the impact damage they’d still be standing. I’m sick of conspiracy theories.

Explain to me how a demolition crew managed to sneak into two skyscrapers in one of the busiest cities in the world, rig them to explode in an operation that would take months, manage to do it in one night without anyone noticing, then clean everything up and blow it up the next day? That's more out there and wild than any government narrative.

Its such a terrible, terrible analogy. It's not possible for jenga blocks to implode straight down through each other as there isn't the weight.

Most of this movie 'one by one' has been removed/cnsored from this platform and btchte. And near impossible to find on the internet. Yet I immediately found a 1931 movie Vampyr. I've never come across a movie so difficult to find. So I bought a DVD copy I managed to find, and if given the permission of the creators will make it available in HD on archive website.

i love Rik Mayall and i love the information on conspiracy and why but comparing jenga to how science of massive plans flying into the upper half of massive buildings is just ridiculous, where has this been done before to show the comparison then i would believe it!

All high rise buildings are purposely designed to fall inwards. It doesn't matter if a plane flies into them, a bomb goes off in them or there's an earthquake. They will all collapse inwards. That's common sense. You obviously can't have a high rise building collapsing sideways in a disaster. It's very basic common knowledge. I'm assuming the film was being satirical.

Taking something out isn't the same as driving something IN and lighting it on fire. The floors under the impact sites burned and collapsed inwards, while the steel frame warped and twisted from the heat (steel loses rigidity at 1800F) and buckled inwards under the weight of the top haves. The buildings' design basically worked against them. Rumsfeld and his corpo butt-buddies knew multiple hijackings were planned, and did nothing. They needed carte blanche to turn Afghanistan into a giant drug crop, and install a puppet regime in Iraq, creating favorable conditions for insurgent organizations, and destabilize the entire region to ensure the money kept flowing decades later... Now they're just trying to destroy the world by division, out of spite...

Ive always questioned the same thing myself. I expected a big chunk of the towers to fall off to one side like Rik is explaining!! Thermite was used to cut thru the steal beams and then they needed explosives to literally knock the building off its foundations and cause it to collapse onto itself aka a controlled demolition!

I asked a question when I saw this when I was younger which was if a wrecking ball were to hit the side of a building it still wouldn’t go through that easy so how could an airplane when the wrecking ball coming at speed is much more powerful than an airplane coming at speed with its soft shell
