Welcome to the Tzuf Family Band channel
Enjoy our music videos, and Harp learning courses and workshops.
Our favorite music genres are Carlebach, Ethnic, Turkish, Meditative Therapeutic, 70's Classics, Israeli Middle Eastern, and more.
I grew up in childhood playing the piano which later transitioned to the Harp, after fulfilling my dream and building my first harp.
My wife Rachel plays the Turkish Baglama, KamanChello, and a Miriam Frame Drum.
Our son Nachman plays side flute,
Our Daughter Orah plays percussion,
Our Daughter Sarah loves to cook, make videos, and enjoy life.
And our two youngest Nehorai and Daryah join us on the Clarinet and Ukelele.
Music is a big inspiration in our lives, and we love to share it with others.
Our music is great for receptions, family get togethers, Chuppah wedding ceremonies, and to uplift any event with therapeutic music.

Farewell to my Regency harp, at its new owners house

Farewell song to my Regency harp at its new owners house. This was my first harp which I built from a Musicmakers harp kit. Over the past 10 years of gigging, it got very scratched up from traveling around the country. From forest treks to the rainbow festival, through twisty cobblestone paths in the old city of Safed, to journeys to the ocean for filming our Harp in the Wind project. I’ve been...

Incredible

Thank you, blessings from the Galilee of Israel ❤
Amazingly tpuchable to listen. Thank you a lot ❤ even though i dont unverstand the words. My heart does😊
Thank you. The translation to the words in the post description. I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me, the shepherd amongst roses
Can I please ask what tunning scale you are using? I know it is likely a macrotone, but is it written down formally? Is it a Yiddish scale, or is it a tuning that is commonly used in Israel?
It’s an harmonic minor scale. If you would be tuned to Am, the G note becomes sharp (just at certain end of measures, it does become natural at the third part) If you would like to learn I just opened a harp learning membership and email list. You’re welcome to join. The link is in the post description

I am to my Beloved and my Beloved is to me. He feeds his flock among the roses. This refers to the love of HaShem (G-d) for his people Israel. Israel is compared to a 13 petalled rose, so called because she is surounded by the 13 attributes of mercy. The thorns are like the thorns of the 70 nations who persecute her and could bruise her delicate petals. As the holy Zohar says, only the 13 petalled rose is the true rose. The other roses are likened to concubines, who the King cares for, and yet none campare to his one Beloved, his Rose. For strong till the death is my love - Israel is willing to die for HaShem, and have continued to cling to faith in the One True G-d through millenia of persecution, progroms, inquisitions, massacres and holocausts. Though the zeal for vengeance of the nations is hard as the grave, the love of Israel for HaShem is a firey love. Many waters (of tribulation among the nations) cannot extinguish this love, nor rivers of seduction of assimilation and tempation or torture can wash it away. Were any man to offer all the treasure of his home to seduce Israel away from this love they would be utterly scorned. Israel was the vineyard of G-d, to whom peace belongs in populous Jerusalem. He gave his vineyard to harsh, cruel guardians (the nations, especially this last exile of Rome); each one came to extort his fruit, even a thousand silver pieces. But G-d says in the end, "The vineyard is mine! Your iniquities are before me!" (I saw how you treated Israel). They say, "The thousand silver pieces are Yours, You to Whom peace belongs, and two thousand more to the Sages, who guarded the fruit of Torah from our designs." We can see now and are grateful that Israel remained faithful to You G-d, and continued learning Torah and didn't assimilate. We will serve you now G-d because we perceive that they were right, and we will support them. Oh my Beloved, dwelling in far flung gardens (far away from the Holy Land in the time of exile) your fellows, the angels, hearken to your voice. Your voice which speaks words of Torah and prayer. Let me hear it, that they may then sanctify Me. Flee, my Beloved, from our common exile (even while you were in exile, my Divine Presence, the Shechinah accompanied you). Israel says, "Be like a gazelle or a young hart in your swiftness to redeem and rest your Presence among us on the fragrant Mount Moriah, the site of your Holy Temple. May we merit the geulah shleimah this year. ✨🤍🕊️🌹

This is Armenian folk song "Noubar Noubar", not Turkish.
Wow thank you for pointing this out. My wife learned this in a Turkish music school in israel, her teacher told her it’s called NaRei NaRei. We’re not sure if it’s shared between both cultures or if she made a mistake
@@TzufFamilyBand My mistake, it's "Nare nare". It's still Armenian and not Turkish.
