    So what have we learned . In public corporate world professionals within the organisation can be open to litigation Point being if somebody was to take the the church to court those professionals that gave advice to the church are open to litigation AKA registered doctors and lawyers of our church

    I am so very disappointed by this presentation and the stance the church is taking regarding same sex marriage. I am a gay Adventist and I wanted to hear what was presented here. It was a very cold presentation and not one word was said about how this stance affects the LGBTQIA+ Adventists. There are 100s of thousands of queer Adventists, their families and their allies who have been alienate by the stance the church is taking on this issue. It seems to be more important to protect the right to discriminate against members than to hear and care for queer Adventists. This is very distressing. It sends the clear message that the church is not a welcoming place for people who do not fit the narrow definition of what the GC has decided. The Bible does not say that marriage is only between one man and one woman. That is a human interpretation. Likewise the Bible does not condemn LGBTQIA+ individuals and does not dictate who they can love. This only proves that the church is not a safe place and simply wants to be able to discriminate. Makes me ashamed to admit that I'm a Seventh-day Adventist.

      Sadly, it is how your interpret things to suit your narrative. There ARE NO "gay" Seventh Day Adventist. Instead of being ashamed to admit being a Seventh-day Adventist, you should be ashamed for being "gay". You might consider prayer, counseling and repenting because it is for certain there will be no homosexuals in heaven. The Bible is clear about this.

      @@BrotherRoy I realize that this is as good as your brand of Christianity will allow you to be. My God seems to be a lot bigger and more powerful than the one you know. I personally know thousands of gay, lesbian, bisexual Seventh-day Adventists. We are in almost every Adventist church, but you might not know it because of your homophobic and bigoted views. I am very proud to say that I am a gay person created by God and I grew up in the SDA church and there is still where my membership is. I stay in the church in the hopes of making it a safer place for LGBTQIA+ folks who are still to come out. As long as there are heterosexuals in the church, there will also be "gay" folks in the church. It is the heterosexuals who are having gay/trans children. I pray that sometime soon, the church will wake up and ask us how to love their gay children. The NAD put out a great booklet called Guiding Families of LGBT Loved Ones and it is available for free from AdventSource. I invite you to get a copy for yourself. I thank God for the existence of Seventh-day Adventist Kinship for creating a safe space for queer Adventists and saving lives.

      @@floydpoenitz3288 Sadly, the NAD's position against the GC with regards to Women's Ordination has demonstrated that organization has already removed itself from the fold, as an organization, not as individuals, mind you. California, obviously with their rebellion has led that charge. So, no, I would not be interested in reading filth which supports a filthy lifestyle. And, yes, you are absolutely right, it is "heterosexuals" who birthed these sick individuals because it could not have happened with those revolting from God's plan of life, heterosexuality. We've known recognized satan would attempt to destroy the family and God's way of life. You're proof of this happening. Your God and my God doesn't promote, accept or condone homosexuals. However, He does love them and is providing many ways for them to receive healing, and rescue them from the devil's grip before it is too late. While I do not wish physical harm upon you, it will come as we near the end of this journey. However, it would be my eternal life's concern if I were you. You have apostatized yourself but there is hope to get clean and renounce such a devilish, perverted sick lifestyle. There are many, so many, who are doing so today. I was a drug addict. God loved me but He didn't love that part of my life. He saved me. He can do the same for you.

    • @floydpoenitz3288

      @@BrotherRoy you make it obvious that you have no clue what the word or concept "homosexuality" means. But that is OK. As I said you are doing the best you are capable of and I pray that God's Grace will make up your deficiency. I hold no grudge against you. You may not be aware, but there is no reproductive defect with homosexuals. We produce the necessary ingredients to create a child. There are many ways of uniting the egg and the sperm besides two men or two women. So that isn't a problem. Since homosexuality is determined in the mother's womb, the majority of homosexuals are birthed by heterosexual couples. I hope you will read up and understand better what it means to be a homosexual or any of the other letters in the acronym. Don't call a person filthy who God has called one of His own. You may also not be aware that in order to be a homosexual, no sexual act needs to take place. I knew I was gay from my very earliest memories... long before I even knew what sex was. I pray for you and the millions of other ignorant Adventists. God is truly good beyond our understanding.

      @@floydpoenitz3288 Might as well come up with "Crackheads for Christ" or "Homos for Heaven"! You don't see something wrong with that picture? And, by the way, nobody is born a homo. It's a choice you've made. You may be predisposed to it as I was predisposed to drugs, but to say I was born a drug addict or alcoholic is ludicrous.

    Anyone who watches this video should go read the letter to the government from ADFlegal with over 2,000 Christian leaders expressing their concern over this legislation. Examples: "The Respect for Marriage Act effectively deputizes interest groups to sue religious individuals,....This bill would require federal recognition of any one state’s definition of marriage. Should a state adopt polygamous or open marriages...The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) could move to strip our 501(c)(3) organizations of tax-exempt status should we hold fast to our belief that marriage is only between one man and one woman."

    "It would be better for him if a millstone is hung around his neck & to be thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones"..... As these Jab mandates get stronger, the force, the bribery, the threats.... Affecting children...... The health, the income of the parents, being able to feed the children...etc etc... !!! I have all kinds of evidence of the side effects that are happening, such as Myocarditis, Blood Clots, neurological issues such as Bells Palsy, Tremors & Tics...... I didnt grow up in SDA church, joined at 30... The Health Message changed my life in every way- Spiritually, Physically, Emotionally, Mentally!!! I have been taught this Health Message is the Right arm of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; as in you cant separate the physical health & spirituality... I find it Totally Contradictory, that now I'm being told this Covid Jab is not a religious liberty issue!!!!!!!!

    What is Christ like about threatening to layoff workers for our Church who decide not to be vaccinated? I am ashamed at your cowardice for not standing for freedom and free exercise. God created us with a free will.

  • @mkvideos777
    @mkvideos777 2 года назад

    You say that the church is supporting those who object to the vaccine on religious reasons but just can't support publicly / denominationally the right to not get a vaccine... BUT the church has in it's writings PUBLIC statements that they see no religious reasons a person should not get the vaccine. The church is taking a stand AGAINST those of us who do have a religious reason to not get the vaccine. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE. It doesn't help much saying you support those who have a religious reason not to get the vaccine if you are publicly saying we have no religious reason to feel this way! People have lost their jobs due to these statements! I have been advised not to say I am a seventh day adventist when seeking religious exemption because of these statements. THIS IS WRONG!

  • @DeniseWilliams-du5mt
    @DeniseWilliams-du5mt 2 года назад

    I interpret this to mean the SDA Church as an organization will not sign your religious exemption request because getting a vaccine or not getting a vaccine is not a doctrinal issue. Anyone wanting help with a religious exemption should contact Liberty and Health Alliance (organized by SDA individuals who understand your concerns and are working hard to fight for your freedom of medical choice). And yes, the NAD is heavily encouraging people to get vaccinated which is a disappointment to many. If they are staying neutral to not sign religious exemptions because it's not a doctrinal issue then why not stay neutral about getting the vaccine and uphold personal medical freedom by saying, "It's an individual' personal choice." Seems like they're more interested in playing it safe than staying neutral!
