What do you mean? It is word-for-word of the novel. It may be Americans who are voicing it, but I don't have any credits showing who is doing what voice.

Can you please tell me which movie version is your favorite? Right now, mine is "The Muppets Christmas Carol". After listening to this, it is easy to feel disappointed by the movie versions because I feel they don't follow the book closely enough.

Follow the prophet just means to keep the commandments. The prophet, in this last conference, taught that Christ is always the answer, and that we should be peacemakers, just as Christ taught. Should I not follow someone who teaches Christ? Even Paul said that a teacher is necessary, because how can we hear without a teacher? Paul also said that prophets, apostles, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are necessary until we all come in a unity of faith; unto a measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Are we in a unity of faith?

Yet you are quoting a prophet / apostle to tell us not to follow a prophet / apostle.

Okay, so what you are saying is that we should only follow the Gospels and ignore the Pauline Epistles? We should also ignore the entire Old Testament? Please clarify. If all scripture is given by inspiration of God, are you saying that we shouldn't use any scripture other than the words of Christ in the New Testament?

He is they way, and He calls prophets to lead us to Him so that we walk by faith. He will call prophets until we come unto a unity of faith. He called prophets/apostles even when He was on Earth, and now He is calling them today, when we need Him more than ever. He has not left us alone. The prophet leads us to Christ just like any of the scriptures do. Yes, I don't understand why it was written that way, but Ebenezer addresses that later in the book when he says "It's Christmas Day! ... I haven't missed it. The Spirits have done it all in one night. They can do anything they like. Of course they can..." Marley had told Scrooge what to expect. Perhaps Marely didn't know exactly how the Spirits would visit Scrooge, and only that they would?

Yes, the ghost of Christmas past does say the visits will happen over the course of several nights, and yet you are right, the visits all happen in one night. Scrooge even remarks on that fact at the end. There is no explanation in the books for that though and I can't find a deffinitive answer to that question online either.

It does but toward the end Scrooge says “they did it all in one night, of course they did they can do anything they want.” I think it’s telling how serious he needed this and to get it all done in one night, and so he can get started changing his attitude about Christmas. Jusr my thoughts.

Yes, it is wonderful to have. I used to share the link where I downloaded it with people, but the website where it was able to be downloaded was updated and it broke the link. I couldn't find it anywhere to share, and because I already had it downloaded, I decided to upload it here. It is such a beautiful version! I am glad others can enjoy it as much as I do.
