It’s perfectly fine. I’ve done all the water sports out there for 30+ years. Just beware of when there is a small craft warning. Which usually is in the spring and sometimes early summer.

I think they are both 26” 4 blade, dad is gonna test his new 4 blade out here real soon.

My 1998 LS-7 is supercharged, I think it has a 27” four blade.

LS-7 is the model of the boat.

Do you have more acceleration or more speed?Mine could use a little more torque in 2nd.

It is definitely powerful, and fast. Just doesn’t have the pep to lift the front tire off the ground, without popping the clutch. That’s very low mileage for a 2015, mines a 2020, and at 2500 miles.

We weren’t going for top speed, more holeshot. Really just testing the engine after having major work done to it. I still haven’t topped it out or even close to it. That’s pretty impressive your 30hp mercury will go 80+ mph. What kind of boat is it on? Do you have video of it?

@@ArkansasRiverWakeboarding with a video title like yours I was expecting different. My 30hp comment was figuratively speaking, as if to say it was a very slow pass. Usually when you read a title of an ls- 7 making a pass it's gonna get rowdy, sorry supercharged LS -7 making a pass. Like maybe 4.5secs 1/8th mile with a humongous rooster tail and a wow shocked look on dad's face.. clickb8

The valves springs were tighten down too tight. Sounds completely different now.

Thanks for subscribing. It does good, I really haven’t gotten to enjoy it yet. I just bought it last summer. We took it out for a short trip on the Arkansas River, and one of the cylinders quit firing. We took it too some local mechanics. They had to pull the engine, put a new cam shaft in. One of the valves wasn’t opening and closing all the way, because of the flat tap it cam shaft. We went back with roller cam and roller rockers. Should be getting the boat back really soon.
