Problem i had when i adjusted valves was not knowing where top dead center is ON the Compression Stroke : when you turn the crankshaft, you hold finger on sparkplug hole and feel for air pushing out then you get to your line and triangle alignment marks. I did it so many times wrong and sometimes right before that.

Great! I like the polished valve covers, mine have corrosion and I was trying to decide whether to just clean or totally polish them. Yours looks so good I think I'm going for the polish.

Great video. Workshop manual calls for 369 ml of oil in each leg and you put 216 ml in so now confused .

That sounds so much better, we are redoing a 79 and looking for exhaust options. Did you make a short connector pipe to bridge the muffler to the header? Is that what I see there?
