Atlantic Salmon Fishing 2
Просмотров 35111 лет назад
Have a look at this to the end, so that you can get a good view of the salmon and two grilse lying here ... the salmon to the right of the large rock (as you look upstream) and the two grilse in front of the rock. The item waving in the current next to the salmon looks to be a piece of material or some such thing caught in the rocks. The salmon seems to like it. Maybe it's what attracted it to ...
Atlantic Salmon Fishing

Fly fishing for Atlantic Salmon. Watch as the fly come in three times from the far right (as an angler would be looking at it), pass by a nice Atlantic Salmon (about seven pounds) ... and then get pulled back for another cast as it nears the camera. This fly has the hitch on it and is on the surface. So, the river bottom, the river surface, and the water in between are all visible in this video...

Yellow shafted Northern Flickr Drumming

This was shot just off a logging road in western Newfoundland. Previously, while shooting some still photographs of him, I had made a note of his habits as far as his drumming was concerned. So, I planned on capturing a close-up video of him doing that. As you can see, I was successful. This was the easiest ... but most rewarding ... thing I've done in photography in recent days.To plan somethi...

Argo, an amphibian, all terrain vehicle, breaking up ice on a lake. Even though the ice at the water's edge is not that thick, notice how close the Argo can come to that edge without breaking through.

Lol. I’d like to see a little John Deere blower move as much snow as that in 5 minutes Haha. My 8x8 has rubber tracks and a blade and no little mower blower will Move more snow than it does . For the amount of time he struggled i doubt the 4-6 k for tracks are worth the purchase. I decked my Argo right out When I bought it in 2010 so already had the tracks but I doubt I’d buy them just for pushing snow. Everyone is a critic. Go buy all the shit and make your own vids

You counted fifteen times! Surely you have something better to do than make inane comments on You Tube videos. For your information, that driveway is 150 feet long and you can't just "toss it over the bank". The neighbor is on the other side of that fence and how many times would a blower have to re-blow that snow to get it down 150 feet. Another thing, I am NOT going over the same spot. Do you realize how wide the area is? I think not! One more thing ... assuming you have a blower on a Deere ... try doing the OTHER things I can do with this Argo with your Deere. Methinks thou art a just a little bit jealous!

From the 1st min I started watching I thought the same thing "AntMan" (below) was thinking. I understand though...at $4k a set (approx), depending on the tracks you get. I plowed with a Honda 450 Foreman for a 3 years with the same setup you have until I got sick of all the unnecessary moves I was making as I see you doing too. I finally sold the plow setup, bought a John Deere garden tractor with a blower, and just used the quad as a toy. Best thing I ever did. Takes 1/2 the time, and looks way better too

It doesn't look like Ontario. Maybe NW Ont. West and north. Its mild out, slush. Can't be Ontario in 2014. We had a 100 days of -30.

GoPro remote? Shame you don't have a remote for the D300.....even magic lantern won't help. That King Fisher would have been a lot easier with a remote I bet.

I wonder how the tires would hold up in the US Southwest where the desert soils are typically decomposed granite or even rocks & sand. IF the tires are a softer compound I would think the desert soils would chew them up pretty fast. Thoughts??

I dunno who manufacturers the stock tires. But, fun fact: ARGO helped the Canadian Space Agency design and develop the running gear for the Lunar Rover. It's safe to assume that they're well experienced in adverse terrain and conditions... worldly or otherwise. 👍👍

Gotta LOVE the Argo. When braking ice, the tracks should be removed, because like you said in the description, it stayed on top of the ice a lot, and the tires would crack the ice better. Also, if the Argo got stuck in the middle of the water, it could just tread water backwards and get back on the ice. But with the tracks on, you would virtually go nowhere.
