@@MygrandpasTrain Thank you. I took the B unit to Gary's. The bell and horn worked off his MRC transformer controls. The diesel sounds work good with AF transformer. The volume rheostat was stuck but I finally got it freed up and turned down. The A unit was a dummy with a sound board also. It is running with a 1954 dual motor Rocket chassis in it.

@@-MAILMAN Thank you. I started buying some freight cars for the lines that ran the west coast and what ran through Spokane where I grew up. We had the UP, NP, GN, SP&S, Milwaukee Road, plus local Spokane Electric. Here in the valley we had UP, SP, NP, GN, SP&S, Oregon Electric, Oregon Navigation RR, and more local short lines from the coast to the Cascades for timber, milled wood, grain, etc.

@@willamettevalleyAFtrains My wife and I watch some of the Charles Smiley videos, not long since they are previews of full length DVD videos. One we watched was the various operations in the Willamette Valley.

@@MygrandpasTrain The train consist changes depending on the events and time of year. The weekend had around 200 passengers per train. You can rent the caboose for your own family & friends. Some of the small trains run a single locomotive. They will move it to the other end via a passing siding in Sweet Home. It's fun to watch the #205 running backwards pulling the consist on the return.

@@AustinsAmericanFlyertrains The steam runs about two days a month. The Rick Franklin Company does railroad right-of-way work all over the country. He has purchased some nice rolling stock over the years. He is also the current president of the Railway Heritage Museum in Portland where the SP4449 , SPS700 & Polson Logging #2 are located.
