Warhammer Darktide has no single player and that's a problem
Warhammer 40000: has no single player and that's messed up. Even though an offline single player has been promised, Fatshark still has not delivered.

Several of all game review on RUclips has being posts and now you this years 2025. 🎮
Oh wow, You are a first made rts psx game reviews video's I never knew that happen.
summoner 2 is so good.
This was the first RTS I owned though I had played others at friends houses before getting it (Dune 2, Warcraft I and a very early 90s Battletech RTS) though I had the PC version. It felt weird because while I know Nod are the bad guys their arsenal just fits my preferred high mobile hit run, ambush, and exploit weak points tactics so much better then GDI's. Plus Armed motorcycles are my favorite unit type in C&C history starting with Nod's Rocket Launcher armed hit and run dream machines.
@@roguerifter9724 That's funny because I don't think I used the Nod Bikes once! I loved the flame tanks.
@@renaissancemanreviews3409 I mainly used Flame Tanks to draw attention from where I was sending my Stealth Tanks or Attack Bikes. The Attack Bikes are high speed Glass Cannons so they take micromanagement to use well. Rush in and fire off a salvo or two of Rockets then evade and repeat until whatever Tank, or Structure GDI has in your way is reduced to wreckage. Though if you manage to find an unescorted Harvester with a group of Attack Bikes its party time.
@roguerifter9724 Yeah they would be devastating to a lone harvester. Kind of like a suped up version of the Trikes in Dune 2000.
I wouldn't really agree on the difficulty part mentioned in this video. I passed the whole game with only retrying once at the end missions and not even all of them. If you try hard enough to understand the mechanics and balance it shouldn't be to hard. The AI isn't all that good espetialy in the story missions where they have scripted movement, they don't attack if you don't kill a certain wanzer or come to close. Simulator battles usually have simpler AI, everyone goes forward until they get in range of something and then just go for the highest hit chance or armor type they would deal the most damage against. If you follow the given wanzer builds and just keep upgrading them you shouldn't run into any problems, even tweaking them a bit. Quick tip for the end: Always have 2 healers as soon as you reach 5 playable wanzers, if you finish a stage with all you wanzers at full hp you don't pay any maintenance fee's and get the whole payout for parts before the next stage. Economy works wonders in this game.
@@offline6536 All good points. I guess what made it so intense for me were all the ambushes on a 1st playthrough. Enemy reinforcements loved to ruin my day.
@renaissancemanreviews3409 Yea, every time I start a stage i spend like 5min looking at the layout, border, paths i wanna take and set objectives on whom to focus first. As you mentioned the "thinking turns ahead", loved that about this game. Having everything play out in your head and taking in account all the possible outcomes was amazing and as the game drew closer to the end it felt like it's unplayable otherwise.
Just put it on private, done you are now the only single player in the lobby
@@I-ADMIN-I Very true. The point is it's still online. You can't play without a reliable internet connection.
I love playing with other people, that’s kind of the point of the game.
Honestly, I don’t think a game needs a single player mode to be a good game. Could darktide benefit from a single player mode? Sure, but I really enjoy what they have going, and not having a single player mode isn’t a deal breaker for me.
Also rips of WAY too much of destiny..
Have over 9k hours in destiny, skill tree way different, weapon mods way different, how to upgrade stuff, way different. What did they rip off? The social hub? That plenty of other games has aswell and destiny wasnt first at doing? 🤔 Or do you mean the psyker bubble that exists in so many games?
Its not a problem lmao
The only reason I play this game is because I can play with others.
It’s not been a problem for the 3 years it’s been out.
No its not a problem its live service like vermintide 1/2 if ya want offline play the various other 40 games and stop crying its as bad as 76 players or MMO players crying that MMOs aren't single player
This is Tib Dawn for the N64. Tib Dawn had FMVs, which you even used in your review. (The ones you used came from the C&C Remaster of Tib Dawn.) The N64 version is a bit different due to the limitations of the N64 cartridge compared to the CD-ROM versions of the PC-DOS/PSX versions, Hence the lack of FMVs.
@@mosh.4245 Yes the PC and maybe even the PS1 versions had FMVs. The N64 wasn't strong enough.
@@renaissancemanreviews3409 It's just a bit odd that you phrase it as if FMVs only became a thing after Tib Dawn, which is incorrect. Yes, the PSX version had FMVs, too. Also, in the description of this video, you call this game Tib Sun, which isn't; it's the N64 version of Tib Dawn.
@@mosh.4245 Right what I mean is the N64 didn't have them but the game is still of value anyway
@ That's fair, but you should of rephrased that segment to clairy you are talking about the N64 version and that FMVs are missing from that version due to the limitations of the N64. How it comes across in the video is you imply Tib Dawn didn't have FMVs.
The ending confused the heck out of me
@@milana2020 Yeah it's an analogy on mental health. Pretty trippy ending.
@ So did Miles actually drown? Or was it just her imagination?🥲
@@milana2020 No I think he drowned. It's the ultimate consequence of her delusions
@ awe man! 😭💔. Thank you for your explanation
NIce review. I had a lot of fun playing this back in 2000. My first RTS.
@@TheQuestionMarkWasEmphasized Yeah I bet it was the first for a lot of people. Mine was Dune 2000.
I’m playing through the campaign now and it’s an awesome game
Which empires is better, SW2E or SW4E?
@@FaheemProductions I don't know; I have only played part 2. The warriors series doesn't always improve with each iteration though.
Im a Leelee fan since joy ride, glass house and wicker man. So I saw this. But man I didn't get it muahaha
I had never heard of this game before, then I found a song from it being used to advertise another game. Loved that song. So I discovered it was from this game. So I decided to order a sealed copy off Ebay for $12. A buddy of mine is coming over today and we're gonna play it and try and beat the game.
@@yearight1205 Didn't realize it had co-op. Sounds fun.
I had a demo of this that came with an issue of Playstation Magazine from back in the day. I played the hell out of that demo lol. I'm finally able to play the full version using my Steam Deck. :)
Playing it now. Grinding before Indibal
The next FM remake to be ruined sigh....
You told me you never beat the game almost immediately
@@sicknsaneofficial8646 I played it twice. Once, as a kid, I rage quit and threw it away. As an adult, I finally went back & finished it. I'm glad I did.
3 year update? Curious to hear 6 month and 1 year+ updates
"The audio is just bursting with Turtles goodness as well" Oh yeah, that does sum it up
i did notice a lot of lag :D
Nice
Tell them 😂
One hell of a game. Not as colorful as FM3. But very nice indeed.
Tne brown eyed child actress that is supposed to be Leelee is a huge mistake. She looks nothing like her...not even the same eye color or nationality.
This was and will always be my favorite game of all time. From watching my dad play it too, buying it rather recently. The music is also so nostalgic.
@@JBotts Yeah, it was a classic for sure
April O’Neil is not race bent she was originally African American in the first tmnt comic
@@MasterofMonkeys13 Now this Impact's channel did a whole piece on this, and while she did have curly hair, she could have been Hispanic or Asian or anything else. It's debatable.
@@renaissancemanreviews3409 true ig but still i dont think race really matters in smalls stuff like this, if they had turned the turtles blue or something then it would be a big deal.
One of the first games I’ve ever played, was around 8 or 7 when I played it, definitely a core memory
@@jerryrice4775 I dig the thumbnail Jerry
I thought the movie was ok
@@lunastarz8703 That's cool, just as an OG Turtle fan it was such a radical departure from what came before
watch the show first bucko 💀💀
yeah, you don't know what the heck your talking about. this movie was great
1.respect for having your own opinion, but I agree either way absolutely nothing you said. Shoot this is probably one of if not my favorite piece of tmnt media period (probably like 2nd or 3rd though). 2. Please watch the show
You very clearly did NOT watch the show. This is my favorite movie right now. Go and watch the show then come back with an opinion.
You obviously didn't watch the show it was based on.
Hey man, strong video. Your background music was kind of loud compared to the VO for me though. I was still able to make you out, but I would want someone to tell me. Also, i've been thinking about a Guardians Crusade video recently too, though I doubt I would get to it any time soon. I thought it was interesting in contrast to how jrps seemed to lean in to having darker, more "mature" storylines over time and I wondered how that tonal shift might have affected the appeal of the genre to younger gamers. Anyway, you've got another sub.
@@KalTheSkeleton Thanks!
Loved this Game, and the world design is v good.
Also plant proteins are better on the kidneys
This was the game that I played the most back in the Ps2 era as a kid. I have fond memories of it, but I've always wondered if it was due to my fanatism for TLotR and my inexperience with turn-based combat. And it's not like a kid can actually understand the nuance of what makes a good JRPG. Happy to know it wasn't all just nostalgia.
@@swarleymanlagranbombilla9575 Yeah it actually has some merit on it's own right and the way abilities upgraded was innovative
This game was a fever dream
FUBAR
I like all three games. Cheers.
I get that. This game gave me night sweats, but I get that
@@renaissancemanreviews3409 I don't get it.
I love this game, the characters, environment and soundtracks. Awesome review too.
Yeah the game actually invested a lot of time in it's characters
Instead Of A Gba Version This Game Got A Ds Version!
What a fascinating place! Unfortunately I live on the other side of the Atlantic, but if I for some reason end up in Utah I'll take a hike among the goblins.
