Thank you. As always, with a Rustler, if an owner wants upper storage cabinets we can make them. This is the layout her owner chose based on how he plans to use the boat. Some owners prefer more stowage, others prefer a more open airy feel - we can make either. When we discussed the plans for our first motor boat with potential owners that asked us for a motor boat, many wanted a large outside entertaining space, an area where they can enjoy the weather and the scenery with family and friends before, perhaps, going out for a meal or having a BBQ/grill. So we prioritised that in this design. You can see the engine access in the other video we uploaded: ruclips.net/video/cxuVy6nUwQg/видео.html it's designed to offer engine access to the the front and top via the saloon for daily checks, and via the cockpit for maintenance. For servicing, you can access both areas. To the rear of the engine bay there is room for a gyroscopic stabiliser and a generator. We also have a separate technical space for all the electrical services, keeping them out of the heat and humidity of the engine room. It makes it much easier to work when there isn't almost a tonne of hot engines right next to you.

In time...perhaps we will. She is designed to take outboards for the US market, and the cockpit is certainly big enough.

with a Rustler, you can choose the layout you want - as long as it will fit! Also, it's worth noting that our R41 is a planing motor boat, this gives around 10 knots faster boat speed flat out, or the ability to cruise at lower engine revs for greater comfort and ecomomy. A four-hour trip in a semi-displacement boat is a three-hour trip in the R41.

A teak deck is an option; we'll fit whatever deck an owner requests. Synthetic teak is becoming more popular for reasons of ethics, cost and convenience.

@@Rustler-Yachts Synthetic teak is interesting. Kudos. That is the most elegant 40 footer I've ever seen.

@@namvet1968 Thank you. We love a well-fitted teak deck, how it looks and feels, but we understand it isn't for everyone. On our offshore yachts, some owners prefer the ease of upkeep that comes with a textured GRP deck. It's terrific that synthetic decking gives many more options with colours and styles, allowing our owners to choose what they want, whether it's teak-coloured or not.

Our yachts are built to an owner's wishes; for example, this boat has a walnut interior, the next has a beautiful oak interior, and each material and style has different cost implications. An article published by Motorboat in July 2021 listed a guide price of £ 828 000.00 inclusive of VAT So I think that it would be safe to say that the cost today would be around £ 1 450 000.00

Hi Robert, You'll be glad to know we fit lee cloths. We also tailor every yacht we make for the owner of that yacht. Should you want a pilot berth we can fit one. Would you like granny bars? Of course, we can fit them, but with the cutter rig and slab reefing that can be operated from the cockpit, there is little need to work at the mast of this yacht. Every owner has different requests and requirements and we will satisfy as many as possible. On this yacht, there's a passage berths on each side. There's one in the saloon - where you can keep a good look out from the raised saloon, and one opposite the galley. It's low down above the keel where the motion is less. Our yachts are moderate displacement. They don't bounce around like many lightweight yachts, and many have crossed oceans and circled the world - without granny bars.
