Great question! I would probably budget somewhere around 2000 max if you’re planning on staying at some cool places, eating good food, doing excursions, buying souvenirs, etc. We went to Iceland in 2022, so keep in mind prices may have changed.

@@landonandkenz ahhhhh rollercoasters!! They've not responded yet, but I can tell you Knott's Berry Farm down the street imho is a much more pleasant experience (I think they prefer Knott's these days as do a lot of locals), not near as crowded, and really fun.

Oh yeah we passed by there on the way in! Kenz loves rollercoasters, but as you’ll see on our next vlog, Landon not so much lol 😆

We completely agree! We think if you’re traveling all over Switzerland by train, it might be best to skip the Glacier Express. You said you visit Switzerland almost every year??? Where are you from?

@@landonandkenz Nottingham. England. I go for a combination of three reasons. Firstly the magnificent scenery and (if the weather is bad) the historic unspoilt cities. Secondly the astonishingly good public transport In particular the Taktfahrplan .with all major public transport routes running at least hourly 365-day-a-year, and timed to connect with each other. Thirdly the Swiss Travel Pass, which (as you know) gives unlimited free travel on that public transport system.

@@landonandkenz Berne. Deservedly a Unesco World Heritage Site. Also a very compact city, You can stand on the terrace in front of the Swiss Parliament and see green fields not that far distant!

We didn’t get the chance to go to Berne, but if we go back we’ll definitely go!

@@landonandkenzno not sledding, but skiing in Colorado for a couple seasons.in the late1970's... I'd fall rather than go too fast, cross country I loved. Sledding is about my speed although my snowboots would probably wear out pretty fast from skidding to slow down.😆

Hahaha skiing is way more terrifying than sledging! You could totally do it 😂

Hi, we will be taking a cruise to Mykonos next summer (July). How do you and where you book the tickets for the bus from the port?

Great question! First you’ll take a ferry over to the main strip, then you’ll walk about half a mile into the city towards the famous windmills. The bus ticketing booth will be to the left of the windmills. You’ll see all the buses lined up. Let me know if you have any more questions! We’d be happy to answer them!
