@TypicalKawaSubie I get you buddy, I am going to make one for you.
Killing it man! Loving this original song!
Thanks it means a lot to me, I am tired of covering other people songs knowing that I spend so much time creating my own, so I'll be uploading more of my original songs and I'll still be making covers as well.
@@GDmusic0I’ve been feeling the same way recently and it’s refreshing to mix it up and make your own stuff. This isn’t easy at all, so I want you to know I’m real proud of you and your hard work. I truly mean it man. You’re inspiring all of us. On the topic of making covers, do you use open tunings much? The general consensus I get is that you should try to have as many open notes as possible for ease of playability. Some people have told me it’s as simple as choosing an open tuning (open C, open D, open A, etc.) and using a capo to transpose to whatever key the song is written in. This way, you’ll have the 1st, 3rd, and 5th as open notes which helps the flow of the song. Even then, I realized I could cover a song with any opening tuning as long as I place my capo according to what the key is (ex. Open D with capo 2nd fret and Open C with capo on 4th results in an E chord). The point is, I’m coming to realized that there is no set structure for which tuning you should use, and I’m kind of intimidated by it now that I’m in the creative stage of my guitar journey. I usually do everything in standard tuning but now I’m thinking I need to expand beyond that. I hold your opinion in high regard and would appreciate any input you have to offer about determining the best tunings for arrangements. Apologies for the long message! Thanks brother
@martea726 Thanks immensely for the kind words it encourages me to push harder, it means a lot to me. Concerning tunnings I have never tried anything else other than standard tunning, so I am not familiar with that concept however I would say that it is interesting to open horizons with things we have never attempted before. And texting me long messages is not a problem I enjoy interacting with my community even though most of you are quiet in the comment section.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks 🙏🏾
tabs plssss
I am making the tutorial right now,I am going to drop it off probably in a few hours.
@@GDmusic0 thank you
@deckcamstify,I am done recording the tutorial, would like to edit real quick then I upload within a few minutes.
Okay I’ll attempt but only the rhythm. 😭🤣
No problem,as long as you enjoy playing music I am happy 😄
This song is so beautiful and sounds so beautiful when you play it but as a mediocre rhythm player, ain’t no way. 😂 But thank you for sharing. 💕
Lol 🤣 I feel you as for me rhythm is easier because I am initially a drummer, however I'd suggest you make the metronome your best friend then work on trending songs on regular basis just the rhythm you'll grow exponentially faster. Enjoy it 😊
I want to lern it
Really 🥺 !

We need a guitar tutorial
Oh you came back it means you liked it, I'm coming up with more tutorials, once I upload a few more projects.
tab?
I do not know how to make them.
lol, you should stick to punching or whatever caused your knuckles to gain so much calluses 😶
What do you mean by that ?
Are you in standard tuning?
Yes, I am always in standard tunning.
Hey bud, very well done! If you don't mind, I'd love it if you could give me a breakdown of your arrangement process. It seems that most people suggest to figure out the notes for the melody first, then find the chords and use the root as the base note and finding opportunities to play the chord notes and melody notes together, then add in filler notes within the key to make the arrangement sound fuller, and then add percussion like wrist thumps and thumb slaps (this is optional). Is this generally the approach you take? I'm very interested to hear your response. Also, I've been training my ear by tabbing out music so I'll probably tab out some of your stuff for my own learning and amusement. Love all the work you do!
First of all thanks for asking and it is a pleasure for me to break it down for you. 1 I search for the centre key of the song and its chord progression I play it until there is no doubts in my playing then I try it on different spots of the fretboard. So I always simplify things by playing the chords progression and the melody line as close as I possibly can so that I move less to help me insert fillers 2 I practice chords progression with the percussion simultaneously (I am originally a drummer so it is a natural reflex to me) 3 then I take a break afterwords I come back to add fillers and I try to choose colourful sounding chords from time to time I would change a little bit my cadence or some notes in the melody while I still keep it distinctive and easy to spot by the listeners 4 I make mistakes here and there trust me I play every of my arrangement better off camera 😭 as soon as I start recording I want it so bad to perfect which is wrong of course, however being a perfectionist I tend to aim for excellence all the time maybe that's why it is the hardest part to me, but I have been letting it go lately ,so I just do it as I enjoy it. 5 Last point, I play sincerely with my heart because music is channeling an emotion, if I do it without any kind of amusement (fun) or with no emotions involved, it is going to be felt for sure. I have a couple of tutorials in my playlists please check them out I do explain how I approach the songs and you may create your own tabs of my arrangements since I do not know how to make them. (I am self-taught guitarist and I spent so much time reading and searching about music theory, so I have a very small and humble pinch of knowledge when it comes to theory in conclusion I trust my musical ears and skills more than my knowledge.
@@GDmusic0 That's so insightful! I appreciate your response and will most definitely incorporate that advice into my own playing. The first step is always the hardest but as I practice I'll get a lot faster at it like you! Once again, your advice is very much appreciated brother! Looking forward to hearing more covers!
@martylaprise5988 Thanks a lot mate 😊 I will do more especially since we are on the roads to 1k subs it's motivating and you guys are interacting more with me so I feel in tune with my community.

Really good buddy, keep it up!!
Thanks a lot 🎉 it's my own composition so it means a lot to me that you liked it.
@@GDmusic0 I intend to be as good as you are now, Can I know for how long have you been practicing guitar?
@AmStaine I believe you can even be better. I started in June 2016 after 10 months I could already play however I discovered fingerstyle guitar in 2020 so it took me about 4 months to be able to arrange my own fingerstyle covers and my personal compositions. Step 1 focus on the melodic part of the song Step 2 always refers to the base line (chord progression) Step 3 pays attention to the cadences (rhythm, tempo, groove and so on) Step 4 you'll have to compromise, some parts it could be the melodic line, chord choice or the tempo sometimes during the arrangements. I have some tutorials in my playlists so you can learn more, however have fun 😊.
@@GDmusic0 Thanks brotha, you're an inspiration!
@AmStaine Never thought in my that I would be called AN INSPIRATION. It brings me to tears 😭 thanks
