I followed these steps : For the auto scaling error due to AWS no longer supporting creating launch configuration, here is what you need to do: On the Configure Instance Traffic and Scaling screen > Instances > Root Volume (Boot Device) > Root Volume Type should be set to GENERAL PURPOSE 3 (SSD) and IMDSv1 DISABLED should be checked.
