How to Fix Rear Auto Door Locks on Jeep XJ
In my 92 its be side your right knee an theres on under hood beside the air box
Thanks brother I needed that information thanks
Can the speedometer work, but not the odometer?
Wonderful video! I’m gonna paint it as well, it’s worth to do it, looks great 👍!
Excellent
Isn’t it supposed to be torque to 54 foot pounds the front sprocket? but is it holding up because I might do the same just get a hand tight
1 1/2 in play. You’re Gonna regret buying that cheap chain 🤦🏻♂️
Chain worked for 2 years and then I sold the Warrior. Only ever adjusted it once after the initial break in stretch
I change it and it’s still not working
Could you post a picture of the sensor mines broken and just has 2 wires the complete plug is gone and need to find one that will match
Mine used to flash codes I’ve used it a million times but now it just seems to not work anymore, know anything about that?
what do you mean by binding up?
so helpful, thanks so much!
not helpfull did the same thing and ended up one link short
Someone who isn’t afraid to bang the limiter a couple times. the engine was designed to rev that high people!
Put a 48 tooth on my rear and a 15 on my front, she has torque like a boss now. Worth the loss of a little top end.
Did you have to move your chain guide up at all ?
good video - great sound - no cat installed ?
great video ! The FMS 44 sounds best - also have installed on my XJ 4.0 - raw raspy raucous, lovin' it
Why did you take chains off?
Cheap ass $25 chain 🤦🏻♂️
The port is under the hood. Fun fact.
What store ?
Now that I've done the check engine light I have the numbers how do I read the codes
You can Google the codes or pick up the Haynes Manual for your vehicle.
Still trying to wrap my head around $ 400 for an ATV muffler ..... please keep a running record of what you have invested in the warrior so you will be able to price it accordingly when you go to sell it .
Thank you for that shit
Is it super low geared? Mine is and I wanna change
Put a 13 or an 11 tooth on the front and a 40 or 38 tooth on the rear and she will be higher geared for more top end but you will lose low end a little.
It comes with a 13 and 40 . And it also depends on what terrain you ride . Trails , go with 15 and 48 that’ll add a little more torque and you’re not gonna lose too much top end and you won’t have to shift so much . 3 gear and you can steady rip through some trails . But if you wanna lose that torque then go 11 and 38
Also spend the money on a good chain . Spend at least $100
What headlights do you have? They look awesome
I think I have multiple codes this don't help too much with nothing wrong I need a better example as to how to read haha
awesome. I just got an 89 and nether the speed or O work. thought it was something simple
I don’t know if this video will help, the 1991 Cherokee used a speedo sensor like the one in this video. But I think the speedometer in your 89 uses a cable.
thanks bro
What kinda terrain do you ride?
5:20 finally a freaking video that showed what it sounds like that high in the revs.
This thing is sick and sounds so good I’m currently trying to restore one that’s been sitting for about 7 years
That’s awesome, ATVs are fun to restore.
What brand and size rear tires are you running?
It was some off brand holeshot copy, and it was a 20x9r9
Does it come with a header pipe or is it just the muffler because I was thinking about ordering one from Amazon and I don’t know if it has everything to fit
Maxton HD This was only the slip on muffler, it did not come with the header pipe, the header pipe included is over 100 more dollars and not necessary.
Awesome, this worked on my 91 Jeep Comanche.
Awesome!
How noticeable is it from the inside?
It’s definitely a little drony but I like it
Hii I have a 94 XJ. My speedometer recently has started bouncing, also gets stuck sometimes at certain speeds while driving until I brake then it'll go down to 0 then back up to a certain speed and get stuck there again. I don't think this would be a sensor problem. What would you recommend? Maybe switching out the speed gear with a new one?
Definitely sounds like a speedometer sensor to me, either that or your actual gauge is broke
thanks for the video
Looks like you have the np 242 transfer case? I have a 1991 with the np242 and I'm getting code 15 for the speed sensor not being detected. Used to come on intermittently now its on all the time. I might try swapping the sensor first, just making sure your part # will work on mine. Thanks dude.
Absolutely dude. Although I will say when mine wasn’t working, I did not get a check engine light. Like the speedo would just not work at all but I never got a check engine light.
Nice job, wish you had taken time to show the Fel-Pro gasket part number it would have saved others searching for the number. Can you post the part number of the gasket?
Sure sure I’ll see if I can put it in the description.
@@off-roadprojectsandfun6868 Top work very helpful thank you
What's the tape called??? I can't find it.
I don’t quite remember, but don’t get it anyways, it’s terrible. It broke a week after this video
I found the problem with mine FYI 99 jeep Cherokee There is a computer board in the ceiling light the wires leading to it where rubbed through to expose copper to the metal roof grounding it out so it also messed up the board but once I removed the board and repaired the wires the locks work fine no longer have a mind of there own and yes I know the board is for the remote control fob I can manage to lock my doors and unlock with the key
Will the miles change
No they will not, the miles are in your gauge cluster.
I think I have the same tip. Get yourself an actual exhaust clamp. They are like 3 bucks
Thanks lol, I’ve actually changed the exhaust tip now.
@@off-roadprojectsandfun6868 mine tip isn’t exactly the same now that I look into it. It’s black and has baffler like design in it. The 44 does sound a little better with an additional exhaust tip
Just to maybe help some people out because it happened to me. There’s a bracket on there that prevents the sensor mount from spinning. Check to see if it’s mounted correctly because mine wasn’t
Can you do more cherokee videos please , It's hard to find someone works on them in my area ... so if i could work on my car would be much better <3
I try to do as many cherokee videos as I can but filing takes a lot of time. I just did the oil pan gasket and rear main seal and wasn’t able to film it due to time. But I’ll keep trying to film. Also I want to start filing some actual off-roading that I do.
thanks man i really needed this <3
Human Monster glad to help bro
That straight 6 plays a great tune. 👍
J R thanks!
Sounds great!
Thanks!
Did you have to reset the ecu after installing the new sensor?
Rene Garcia no I did not, just plug and play
Hi, your jeep in this video is a '91? I'm updating mom's (white) '91 XJ after it sat more than 6 years. It is a Limited Edition. Thanks, BrandyF from West Texas.
