Tighten up that pick in your hand dude - it will be harder to pick but will clear things up. Song is really arpeggiated so having clear notes is important. Focus on getting clean, clear notes from both hands. Also - props for having the balls to post yourself on youtube. Don't let haters bring you down.

Even if you do write something that doesn't sound good to you then, it may sound better later! That riff you played might sound good in the context of transitioning to another section of a song. I keep all my riffs recorded/saved and if I don't like it anymore, coming back to it later (days, weeks, months) adds a new breath of fresh air.
