Hi, my name is Esmay and I've been a Eurovision fan since 2009. or how my family calls me: 'A Eurovision encyclopedia.' In 2021 I finally got to fulfil a dream I've had for a long time and got to go the the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest right in my home country The Netherlands. In 2024 I travelled to Malmö and attended both semi’s live, getting to see all 37 competing entries in the arena!
I learned how to edit video's while I was still in school and decided to make some ranking video's on Junior Eurovision during my free time. I loved how they turned out and thought 'why not share it?' I will make and share new video's when I have time, when I actually feel like editing and when I have fun new video ideas.

We could see someone winning in 2028 who was born more than 100 years after André Claveau...
Kids born 100 years after André are currently Jesc age, tho chronology the youngest winner (Zoé Clauzure) was born in 2010. The 2 most recent Spanish participants are the ones closest to the exact 100 year mark out of all the birthdays I've got written down.

As per tradition I had to upload a video on my birthday and what better than to make a video all about birthdays! Spoiler alert, all but 1 of them were born in the previous century. 😂

@@RealJojo4 they didn’t in 2018 and they were banned from 2021 onwards. Last time I checked 1 was not more than 2😅

When do you make your top 16 for Junior Eurovision 2014? I say this because I need the banners to do it too
@@cheztyesc I don’t know yet when I’m going to remake those, but I’ve put it on my to do list. 2014 should be relatively easy as can reuse my old ones for the most part. 2013, 2015 and between 2017 & 2020 I have to make complete from scratch so those will take a little while longer.

@@BrynjarReynisson I just picked my favourite song that fell in that streak. I don’t like a lot of songs in this video, but I disliked the others even more.😅 Music wise this video is really crappy and nearly a snooze fest, but luckily that’s not what the video is about😂
@@ESCMay If I would have chosen a song from those years we didnt qualify I would have picked Hear them Calling from 2016. In my opinion its the best song of those 4 and the only one who would have deserved to go to the final

As an Icelander I'm really proud of my country getting 7 qualifications in a row. For such a small island country that is very impressive and that we have longer qualification streaks than many winning countries is very impressive
I think its time for Nelly Ciobanu to return for Moldova😂 shes one of their only successful artists who have only competed once. They seem to always have returning artists. I would love for her to return because I really like her song in 2009
Im so happy for Georgia, Ireland and Latvia all qualifying this year after years of non qualification. They all deserved it with great songs
