When I practice outside, Scruffy immediately starts digging somewhere because he's excited. Then I end up playing anything I can at that moment just so I can record him. Scruffy started digging and I wanted it on video. I already have this song recorded in another video, but it's the only thing I could think of at that moment. This Weltmeister accordion has a cassotto for a mellow sound. I'm not really good enough yet for such a cool accordion but what-the-heck. I love it. I recorded this on a Spring afternoon. This accordion has a "Palmer Converter" system, which means the bass buttons can be configured to play individual notes instead of chords. Someday I'm going to learn how to play it that way but it's too hard for me right now. It's in the traditional bass setup for this song.
