Thank you!!!!
That little rgb technique at the end is genius
Wait hold up this wasn't even meant to be a big public RUclips video?
Not really, it was for my students, but if it helps anyone else that's good.
You can also do this with a smart object and adjustment layers so it's non-destructive.
omg i need to tell u thats this is the best tutorial for me! Even if am not a native english speaker, ur voice is so calm, and u explain everything sooooo good that its very easy for me to understand and repeate ur steps! good job! Thank you very much !
That's a very nice thing to say, thanks. I don't post that often on here as it is mainly to supplement student learning at my College, but do let me know if there are any other subjects and I'll see about doing more videos in the future. Thanks again :)
Will not the semi-transparency detection algorithm on the printing company website you're going to use rejects your design because of the texture layer with 60% opacity?
It really depends. If you are just getting a laser print or similar, I would supply the file as a flattened TIFF or jpeg. If you are actually using screenprinting, you would probably only supply the bitmap layer (the one with the halftone image) for them to work off. This tutorial is mainly to give the effect of a screen printed image.

Hey Chris! If you would, could you do a tutorial on basic photoshop, how to use layers + trace over images/ render. I have a friend that is getting to know adobe software but has no luck with other online tutorials. I have learnt pretty much all I know in regard to photoshop/premiere because you have such great teaching skills!! 😊 Also, big respect to you for doing these videos!!
Thanks very much! - I do believe I know who I am talking to... We are going to be doing a Photoshop night course at some point - that would be the best way to learn it if your friend could be interested in that?
