Hey guys! This one's a BVR night fight in an F-16. I almost make it to the merge with the last bandit. The AIM-120s feel broken compared to the AIM-7s, but if it works, it works. Also, it feels strange having to manually swap through targets instead of having Jester do it for me.

This is just a quick mission that I put together to practice some fleet defense in the F-14B. There's a three ship of MiG-29SK coming in from the left and a two ship of MiG-31 coming in on the right side. Most of the work is done by the frigates and destroyers, but they leave some for me. Hey guys! This is my first successful dogfight in the F-16. I'm still learning the controls of the radar. It's kind of strange not having Jester back there to find things and scream at me. Also, I'm not sure how the landings go on these planes quite yet, so it gets a little interesting.

This video showcases all my bad habits. No runway? No problem? Too much speed? It only makes the wheels smell better when they burn up. Flying straight is overrated, anyway. Also, I ran into a bug where the plane wanted to idle around 600 knots. I believe the thruster must have been stuck (possibly a hardware issue). This caused a lot of uncontrollable rolling.

In this video, I'm doing some Saturday morning exercises. The primary set is four fishbeds at roughly fifteen miles, making sure to alternate between sparrows and sidewinders. We follow that up with an abrupt landing at the nearest airport. Gotta make sure the legs get some attention.

I can't state this enough. The weather and lighting effects in DCS are just gorgeous. This is a morning dogfight against an AI MiG-29A, which has an initial advantage on altitude in cloudy conditions. After the initial volley leaves me slow, the AI reverses into a dive, leaving him extended and vulnerable. It ends quickly and with pretty colors.

This is just a close-range fox-2 fight with two SU-27s above some pretty cloud cover.

Hey y'all! This is a video with a simple setup at around 17-18,000 ft with two incoming AI MiG-29s. I think my favorite thing about DCS is the raindrops on the canopy. The rain is modeled so well.

I decided to run a CAS mission with a wide assortment of armament. I didn't realize it was possible to bomb yourself out of the sky.

Another quick mission that I modified to be a takeoff and intercept. Waiting on the cooling process of the AIM-54s is pretty tense. Two minutes is an eternity with bandits incoming.

This one starts out as a BVR against four SU-27s in the middle of a winter storm. There's a lot of tree hugging and kissing the dirt. I'm still learning how to avoid blacking out. What can I say? I like to go fast.

This is basically Oprah flying a Tomcat and handing out Sparrows to each passerby whilst Jester yells something (possibly important) from the back seat. I know the AIM-7 gets a bad rap, but it can be effective if launched under the right parameters.

A destroyer and three frigates go whomp-whomp on a pack of Sukhois. It almost makes me feel bad for them.

Hey y'all! This is a quick intercept mission in DCS with two SU-24s and six escorting MiG29s. After the intercept, they give chase into the hills and mountains. Not everything goes to plan, but that's part of learning.
