FROGS ON THE WAY ✨💚🐸💚✨Every day brings something new on my plate!🙃 The last heavy rains left enough water in our formally dry, above ground exercize pool for Mama(S) to decide that it was perfect for hundreds, if not thousands of babies to hatch and grow into froggies there. The eggs hatched and the Tadpoles been so content, it's been months, with very little change. I only recently read that if the Tadpoles are super happy, feel unthreatened, they can delay their transformation!😳 Whaaaaat! We've been very patient but it's time to leap the "pond" kiddos! So as of late we've been moving them into a much smaller pond liner "pool," Tom in the water gently hand scooping bucket by bucket, me transferring them from pool's edge, to their new home where they can continue to take their time and finish their transformation into frogs.🐸 So far we think we might have at least two different kinds. I was just in Taos and heard this beautiful emotional sound down the alleyway. I signaled my grandson over who was born with a musician heart too. He heard it not even one minute and lay prostrate like he was dying he felt it so strongly. It hypnotized us. I wasn't feeling social and was very tired so stayed around the corner but my little charge Anton went around the corner with a little encouragement and introduced himself I think. The girl he was with introduced herself. I asked another passing musician if he knew the guys name. He told me at first he could not remember immediately but thought he was really, talented, then remembered. Anton went around the corner again and asked if Adam was his name and I heard "how did you know" It probably seemed like my Anton was psychic, but then he explained. He bought a CD "Ghost Dance" (So beautiful BTW and would highly recommend) with his own tiny allotment of money for the road trip. The music refreshed us through the night as we slept on the road. We played it over and over. It was enchanting in a way i cannot describe but blew us all away in different but similar ways. It made me realize how much a song is not about the technique (or only {at least} the sound) or even the story, as much as it is about the emotion conveyed, and that is what he was giving. I'd never really heard anything like it. He is a treasure.
