See brother, P=MV is just one of the formula for momentum and it is only for the classical physics and light is by no means in classical physics instead it can be somewhat categorised under quantum physics now lets extend the formula P=MV --- (1) we know E=MC², so M=E/C² and speed of light is C, i.e V=C Now put value of M and V in the equation (1) P=(E/C²) *C => P=E/C so since now there is no requirement of mass and we know that light has energy. Never did I say wrt train.I only explained in respect to you and ground 2. wrt you is equal to wrt train because you are standing in the train so,if the ball is thrown by you at speed of 30km/h then by law of inertia it will be 30km/h relative to you and so will it be for the train as well. So,wrt train the ball speed is 30km/h. 3. the ball is thrown at 30km/h in opposite direction of a train moving at 30km/h. So by simple maths and physics the speed of ball relative to ground is 0km/h 4. it would have been 60km/h wrt ground IF the ball would have been thrown in the direction of the train.
