Camping, kayak fishing, exploring, off-roading and all the adventure gear that helps me enjoy life outdoors!
I am a Husband, Father and Active duty Servicemember. Over 14 years of Naval service has taught me to be grateful for everything in my life. I have fished ever since I could remember and I wish I would have experienced camping from a younger age. It would have given me a different perspective when I was sleeping in one-man tent next to my rifle. I have been kayak fishing for a few years now and have just started to delve into the world of tournament fishing for kayak anglers.

We take our new Diablo Amigo Kayaks on their Maiden Voyage on the Brazos River and the dam released water for the first time in 2 months. As we start to head back from a great day of fishing we start to notice the clear water started to turn brown. Moss, brush and trees started to head downstream faster and faster. The water being released went from 29cfs in the morning to 3600cfs 5 hours later...
