Sadly, I wasn't able to contribute to the kickstarter. I planned to, but I had a few bouts of car troubles that left me unable to donate to it, and be eligible to vote for the rematch.

I probably would have wanted to vote for Dante vs Bayonetta, but it ultimately wasn't an option, I don't think. From what I recall of the options, they were largely ones I'm largely impartial to (like chief vs Doomslayer), or dislike (Yang vs Tifa, Ben vs Hal, etc)

@@Flawless-Walrus Oh Dante vs Bayonetta should have gotten on the Poll, then I would have chosen it as my Second Choice. Bayonetta was done dirty in the DB, like, where the hell did Dante's Rain Drop Feat come from? Not like that mattered since Bayonetta and Jeanne did a similar feat in Bayonetta 1 when they were fighting with their legs only. Oh, and Jubileus........... if you seen the Bayonetta Anime Film, they were fighting in Space and had massively FTL moments that Dante really couldn't catch up to.

@@simounobrien9096 Yeah, I definitely maintain that it's an episode where one character got done the most dirty. Not only that, but both have had a lot of stuff added since, and even the animation has a lot of issues that could use touching up.

@@Shritistrang Good call, I was doing the balancing like 5 minutes before the episode dropped and didn't have as much chance to test it as I'd like. I'll be turning it up next time.

@@DragonKingMadaraUchiha Whew, that's a pretty spicy take, though I won't decry someone their opinion. I think all three episodes we've gotten so far have been great either way, but on rewatches, this one's probably my new favorite episode of DB.

Don't take that to heart. The one to state that was Bowser himself. He could easily be gloating. And even if that was true, he hardly uses his IQ to begin with lol

He never downplayed Eggman and Sonic, infact, he pretty much put them at high ball feats. Besides, what is stopping Bowser from going far beyond Multiversal?

Sonix X Shadow Generations. The Game that made me realize, a Remaster that made Sky Sanctuary the most beautiful level of the game, despite the fact it has the Death Egg......... hehehehehehe

I've seen good things about Sonic x Shadow, not sure if I plan to play it? Only platform I'd really be playing it on is Switch, and there's a bunch of other games that have come out, and will be coming out that have jumped the line, like Brothership, Echoes of Wisdom, etc.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is one of the absolute best Remasters ever :D!! However, I still say, Age of Mythology Retold and Starcraft Remastered do edge out. But that is more on me being a die hard fan of strategy games

Unless Eggman can overpower the Dreamstone Capabilities, Idk. Huge fan of Mario and Sonic btw and I say Bowser is much more powerful

@@simounobrien9096 he can since the dreamstone only has the power of around 100,000 universes in it (estimated since its powered with the dreams of everyone on the island) which is only multiverse level compared to the sonic verses high ends (including time eater, metal overlord, sage, Egg Wizard) being complex multiversal. However if they really lowball eggman and highball bowser then I can see him squeaking out a win.

@@simounobrien9096 he has multiple complex multiversal to universal mechs that would shred bowsers forces, I just think death battle might show favouritism and with bowsers hax give him the dub (which would be nice cause I like him more as a character, brotherhood makes bowser junior and bowser even more loveable than before.)

@@AnthonyLisi That's part of where Bowser's much higher stats come into play, including speed.

@@AnthonyLisi Unfortunately a bunch of Bowser's minions like King Boo can do sealing that act as a solid counter to the Time Eater. Bowser himself included, through transmutation. He could legit just turn the Time Eater into a brick.

@@Lunapink93 Because Mario resists transmutation. You can even clearly see this when fighting Kamek/Magikoopas. Shots that miss Mario and hit other things turn them into other enemies or items, but when they hit Mario, it just does flat damage. There's other examples, but that's the most clearcut.

Ehhhh, I think that's a bit dismissive of the powerhouses Bowser is bringing here. The Boos null most of Eggman's army, especially King Boo. Then Kamek can legit transmute folks/equipment into flip flops. Bowser's not the only one doing stuff here.

I believe Kamek is gonna give Bowser the Firepower and Hax to pretty much wash most if not all of Eggman's Minions

And yet, whenever people talk about it, they can never actually elaborate on what these issues are. The way DB explained their interpretation of the Sun Disk relied on a scientific method, that made sense. Feel free to provide an actual argument for why their method of calculating it doesn't work, but until then, your accusation that I'm meat riding DB when it's simply being receptive to their arguments falls flat, and shows that you're little more than someone meat riding Dragon Ball, and is upset that Bardock lost. If you wish, indicate actual arguments beyond saying "Other people say it's wrong", when 90% of the youtube and reddit arguments are just screeching about DB not saying out loud that three people blew up Viltrum. VBW ain't really worth bringing up, given their horrid track record with so many series.

@@simounobrien9096 I didn't have any specific plans to, but it could be a good one to add to the list. I do quite enjoy WH40K from the ol' Dark Heresy days in high school.

Yeah, this is one that a lot of different folks are gonna have a lot of different opinions. I see this fight essentially being that the people who are more casually looking in see a Giorno win because GER seems cracked, but the more in depth looking folks know how busted Persona/SMT really is. Ironically, pretty similar to Dio vs Alucard, but with the JoJo role swapped.

@@Flawless-Walrus Honestly, I think Joker should technically win via virtue of having more Versatile options and MUCH bigger Stats. I love both Persona and JoJo's, but this is a case of when you have a character who dwarfs the other in terms of the previous aspects I just said plus having more Summons (Personas), and we got the opposition who has two abilities that are indeed very much bonkers, but not enough to overcome the Power Gap. I however am not gonna be salty on the outcome. To be clear, both do have good win cons but I am going for Joker

When you mentioned the Speed part, I am getting Ben 10 vs Green Lantern vibes, when the Failsafe system was unable to prevent Ben's arm from getting cut off by scissors (I strongly agree on that outcome btw) So, do you actually believe that GER's Ability is dependent on Speed and Reaction timing, if so, then its screwed since Joker already has that massive Speed Advantage

@@simounobrien9096 From what I know, Return to Zero is effectively retroactive, isn't it? I don't think speed matters too much for it, but if it does, then yeah, multiple infinities persona/SMT goes whoosh.

Why exactly do you think the Sun Disk feat was wanked? I think they explained pretty well why it would need to be the size it was.

@@Flawless-Walrus Then why did he need help from 4 other Viltrumites to destroy a planet with an already unstable core, while concerned they would die if they took too long? Viltrum certianly isn't the size of a star. At some point you gotta realize when your calcs just don't match up with other things we see the characters do. Like how they calculated Archie Sonic's black hole "feat" but called it into question because he is consistently defeated by way weaker things. No different here. The whole scaling was just based off an unproven statement about how they didn't have weapons that could kill a viltrumite, which Death Battle believed included the sun disk, but we haven't actually seen any of them get hit by the sun disk ray. It's important to remember fan calcs are not absolute nor canon. Any character could be wanked to a ridiculous degree using calcs, and then that same character is later taken out by a city level attack. We do not have a confirmed size of the Rognarrs’ planet, nor the star near their planet, nor the sun disk itself. The only shots we ever see of the disk are it in space blocking the sun’s light, and it being destroyed. Even then we only ever see some of its destruction, so it is still difficult to measure. According to Nolan, the purpose of the solar disk in the context of the comic was to block out sunlight to freeze the Rognarrs. Basically causing an eternal solar eclipse around their planet, causing the planet to freeze up. To accomplish this, it does not need to be the size of a sun or something. Just big enough to block the sun’s heat. This would reduce the size of the sun disk considerably. The sun disk could be only moon-sized and do this. And furthermore, if Nolan gets that kind of leniency, then SSJ Bardock should've also been scaled to Frieza's supernova, given that the 50x multiplier of ssj would've made him very close to first form Frieza's power level of 530,000 (Bardock's 10,000 base x 50 gets him to 500,000), and on top of that, the supernova feat was an extremely casual attack that Frieza barely used any of his power to do, so Bardock would absolutely scale to it. Even their own researchers unanimously believed Bardock would win. Seriously, Omni Man didn't get a single vote in the G1 prediction blog. Normally, I'm against accusing them of bias like so many others do, but I just couldn't defend this one if I tried. It's hilarious how Omni Man was generally agreed to be the faster one and Bardock would massively eclipse him in terms on power, but in the episode it turned out to be the opposite. And here's the kicker: Even by Death Battle's own calculations, Omni Man would literally be a statue compared to Bardock given the gigantic speed difference. There's literally no way Omni Man would ever even hit Bardock by their own logic.

Bardock base is planet level because they are using power levels so . Bardock should be large planet level to dwarf star level in power.

@@Flawless-Walrus Oh I actually played the Zelda Games (Not all of them but Ocarina, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess and Breath of the Wild and my personal favorite, A Link Between Worlds) so spoil all you want hahaha. Personally though, I am not quite as big of a fan of Zelda as you are, I am more for Starcraft, DnD and The Witcher Series. I do have alot of respect for Zelda at least :D
