Lovely video and beautiful shoes! I do wish that more people and women realized that heels are absolutely not a requirement to dance tango in. Wish dancing in flats was more normalized.

While they are on the higher end of the price range for Argentine Tango shoes, I believe the quality matches the price. Sine my shoes are tools that I use every single day, I need to invest in high quality footwear. That definitely doesn’t mean that you can’t find great shoes at a lower price point! There are many brands that I haven’t tried that may work even better for you. The stiletto is directly under my heel, the ankle straps feel supportive even without a heel cage, and the front part of the shoe fits my narrow feet well, plus there are slim and regular options for width! The one that I linked above is the alternative material to canvas that I was talking about. Unfortunately the size was a little too small, so she gifted them to me. I am so lucky, they fit perfectly and are one of my most worn pairs recently! I couldn’t fiddle the exact pair so I linked a similar style. 16:10 Why Sur didn’t work out for me Sadly Sur shoes didn’t work for me. I love the design, but the heel isn’t in the right place for me. I slip when wearing them. I like that they are very well designed for my foot- the stiletto was very comfortably under my heel. The overall fit was comfortable and they feel very stable. I have only worn them a few times, and they were comfortable for a performance, but when I wore them for a full 4 hour milonga, I personally felt like I needed a bit more cushion by the end. It felt similar to the cushion of Comme Il Faut shoes, which I have tried on but have never danced in. However, I know that there are people who prefer less cushion, and at a lower price point I would say they are worth a try if the higher end shoes are out of your budget.
